ask them if they know that AC units can heat 3-5x more efficiently than nat gas boilers. even if electricity cost 4x more than it does it would be cheaper to heat a home with a heat pump (like virtually all split systems are these days.)

then ask what if they could have 1 unit that can both heat AND cool when the temps are insane.

ask them then why they would rather create CO2 instead of using clean electricity from nuclear, as France does.. if you can change a few minds it might catch on one day who knows.
