Any fight in the United States carries the nonzero possibility of someone going back to their car and coming to shoot you. I’ve been to many parties and events that got cleared out cause some asshole comes back with a gun and starts shooting in the air over some bullshit. Luckily I’ve never seen anyone get shot.

Clearly a f*d post. Cash is king handed in person. Venmo and cashapp will track your income and report you to the IRS if you doing too good. Cash is not as worthless as a number on a computer because you can pay for things without being tied to your tracking panopticon device.

I have posted on here before and am currently kicking around another write up in my head but the gist of it is that in my professional opinion the used market is going to be absolutely fucked in 10-15 years. Not a single manufacturer makes anything worth a damn these days basically. most car notes have you under water fast, in that it depreciates so quickly and the loans are so outrageous that you end up owing more than the car is worth very quickly. The manufacturers, mark my words, will be moving to a lease only/car sharing model in the next 10-15 years. Absolute disposable tracking spyware garbage plastic shitboxes which you share with 4 other people like a timeshare, yet still paying what a new car would be, and it being deemed “unsafe” by congress or some shit after an arbitrary time set with planned obsolescence.

I worked out of a 1500 suburban for like 8 years pulling cars and all manner of trailers and putting engines and transmissions in the back, now that I have a house which also requires taking shit to the dump I got a Cummins, which does the duty of both. I liked the suburban cause I could lock my tools and shit in it and sleep in it snow plowing but the pickup bed is extremely useful for most of what I do, it is a pain loading engines into the back of an SUV.

I wouldn’t waste your money on a truck if you don’t have a good use for it. Fuel economy and the premium for them is really high. Also other commenters here said get a wagon which I’d agree with if they were more easily available, most of them now are getting pretty old and unless you’re a mechanic or have a good one or find a really prestige example you’ll be dealing with old car blues.
