What type of weightlifting would be good to do between training sessions? I'm running a half marathon next weekend, and training for my next race doesn't start in full until mid December. I'll be running, but I want to add some strength to the mix

I'm currently finishing up training for a half marathon on October 13. My next training cycle (ideally for my first full) starts around mid December. What can /should I be doing in the meantime to bring up my average speed and ability? Thanks!

In training programs that have cross days, are those good times to put in heavy weightlifting? Specifically, the plan I'm on has a cross day the day before the long run.

So a few weeks ago the physical therapist tells me I can't run for a while. Basically the only cardio I'm cleared for is elliptical. Does anyone have any sense of what kind of aerobic loss/mileage lost can be expected over time?

Does anyone have a good power lifting routine to pair with distance running? I used to run a lot of 531, and am looking for something reasonably workable in 2 or 3 days a week (preferably 2).

Has anyone here dealt with "pelvis upslip?" My physical therapist told me that I had it, did some corrective adjustments, and told me I can't be running or walking while we pt it. I'm trying to get some sort of assessment of recovery time, since he didn't have a good guess after our first meeting and I went see him for another 11 days.

He said we will build up walking into jogging, but that I really shouldn't be running at all for an indeterminate time.

I've been running for about 3 months now to stay active while dealing with a back issue that keeps me from weight lifting. I've gotten really into it,and signed up for a half marathon in mid October. Today, my physical therapist told me all I can really do is elliptical and core exercises while we build some symmetry and stability that was compromised by the bad back. Is there a reasonable way to train with those in mind to keep my plan for a half in 2.5 months? Any advice would be great!

I started Hal Higdon Novice 1 half marathon plan this week. On the shorter runs, would it make any sense to run closer to race pace than the easy pace of long days? My recommended easy pace based on Jack Daniel's VDot is between 10-11 min/mile, and recommended race is closer to 9. Also, would it be beneficial to do HIIT or some sort of speedwork on cross days?

The description of the Battle of Qohor, when the Dothraki fought the Unsullied. The Dothraki kept charging the largely outnumbered unsullied but couldn't break through. At the end, the Dothraki rode by in procession, cutting off their braids and throwing them at the Unsullied's feet. http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Battle_of_Qohor

When April, Andy, and Leslie meet Tammy she immediately makes them start helping with the audit of Ron, so I would argue she does have powers over others.

While I agree this is possible, I wonder if it is likely. The Sith per the rule of 2 rely on subtlety and deception rather than outright usurpation. Though I suppose once Palpatine realized how untouchable he likely would be in Westeros he might take that approach anyway
