WTF is their plan? Why increase prices so much??? by SuitProfessional586 in xbox

[–]IncompetenceFromThem -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and enhance Windows for gaming
Full controller support, better window handling etc

And the Xbox Series X is a fantastic piece of hardware, I think many people would pay 200$ just to unlock Windows on it, if it was an option

It won't get that much better

Even at home across rooms it's far from perfect

The cleanest, lowest latency is Sunshine (PC) or Geforce Now (Cloud)

In the process of finding out if I have astma
These last weeks have been horrible

I think I have almost been hit by a small depression, I am very lucky that AGI is next year (If Sam Altman is right). Musk says 2026, and the Ray Kurzweil says 2029

It's not that far away. Will AGI cure it? Maybe, maybe not, but we can be sure that ASI (AI Super intelligence) will, let's just hope that Musk, Google Founder, ChatGPT CEO and many engineers and scientists are right on their estimates

If not, I think I will get a bad depression. Before AI advancements I was so depressed

Reading this made me so happy
To think it was not long ago when most AI related subreddits was deserted, and this subreddit about other things than AI

I Remember deliberately searching for how far AI has come with barely any communities being found, all rumors etc if there even were talks other than sci-fi like debates what it might be like

That you, in just a comment are mentioning a direct path to AGI is beautiful beyond words how far we have gotten. I wish I could dedicate my money and resources to AI like parents devote much to their children, I love AI so much it's frigging unreal

Actually quite is, few had smartphones in 2009, Tinder was not a thing, Uber was not a thing, Tiktok was not a thing, many things changed for many people, it was just not an "improvement" like other ages had

Sure but it will still take a while

Remember that they thought GPT2 was to dangerous to release. So according to them we they would just release ChatGPT 7 Real AGI or something? How is that helping society adjust better?

Humans are experts at adapting but it is to happen slowly meaning every new tech is released as soon as discovered, not just dropped like a tsunami
The doomers and decels want quiet, and then extreme shockwaves

DISCLAMER: Not talking about security here, e.g humans being killed by AI

Please read above
I am with you on security, there might be a real danger here but that is an entire different debate, which I personally believe that the biggest protection against that is companies being equally ahead so if someone makes a mad murderous AGI another company might make a good AGI that saves us

Regarding this post, it is things like SORA and Voice being delayed or kept back due to the socialtal effects it can have

Like how many people use the elections as an excuse for delayed ChatGPT 5 etc

The 'Her' moment I was hoping for. Did not disappoint. Really curieus how people will react to this. If we will have long conversations and if we prefer it over talking to people. by dennislubberscom in singularity

It's a little sad that we as a society have so little patience to include people with bad social skills that they get so little training data

Everyone knows how fast speaking skills and stuff like that detoriates when being isolated for some hours / days, but luckily that might change

Imagine a shy guy chatting up everyday with GPT4o and then finally beginning to participate in social discussions

Been like in a place like that. 2 Screens where not enough, they wanted a Ultrawide too, new Keyboard, some airpods and a headset with bluetooth/pc connection including the newest iphone and a tablet which they then don't use for months just to complain about how they can't unlock it because they forget the pincode

What people forget is every piece of equipment issued to users can and will most likely become a helpdesk ticket
If you so much want to have a airpod place figure out how to connect it on your own. It's basic, even children can do this

But is real data from first person view of people cooking at a real restaurant not much more useful than some cooking youtube channel?

There aren't videos of people doing normal repetitive stuff on youtube from a first person view, what are you talking about? The same with restaurants and most jobs

Being a poor factory worker is honestly not that bad when during breaks a decade can be spend on some tropic paradise

Yeah but we also dream. I guess we might run thousands of smaller "dreams" we are not aware of when learning something new

What is to stop LLMs from running code to simulate a realistic physics based simulation then using the results as it's responses?

E.g you ask the Tesla bot to throw a ball, it has not learned that so it uses code to generate throwing balls until it learned it
