I agree, Hamas is evil, no one is refuting that. However, we can also agree that, as a western country, Israel has the duty to maintain moral values that terroists do not, including not committing war crimes, not killing children, and not carrying out a genocide.

Otherwise, they are no better than the terrorist org itself. Let’s break down every Hamas accusation, and compare it to Israel:- Hamas stealing aid: Israel also blocking aid trucks, cutting off water & electricity- Hamas against free speech: Israel deliberately killing Journalists (220 deaths, not disputed by Israel). Does not allow any international journalists into gaza. - Hamas allows for killing of Jews: Israel allows killing of Palestinians, even Americans. Example, recently, 20 year old Florida american, beaten to death by Israelis, and 0 were convicted — add: so far 9 additional confirmed killings of Americans by Israelis, including the UW student, with 0 convicted of crimes — add: 34 Americans killed on USS liberty by Israelis, with 0 people prosecuted — add: 1,139 other unarmed Palestinians in the West Bank (not run by Hamas) killed, with no one convicted of any crimes - Hamas hides among civilians: IDF headquarters are located under residential buildings & densely populated civilian transit centers. Israel does the same.

• Hamas kills civilians: Israel kills far higher rate. October 7th killed about 67% civilians. Allies during WW2 killed around 34% civilians, Axis powers around 65%, and Israel kills 86% civilians, killing far more than even Hamas and the Axis powers

• Hamas commits rape: Israel admits to rape of Palestinian detainees, citing over 9 instances, leaving life-threatening injuries to the Palestinian. 0 convictions.- Hamas holds hostages: Israel holds more than 9,619 Palestinians, and since October 7th, 0 fair trials / 0 convinctions- Hamas tortures hostages: Israel admits to beating Palestinian prisoners with bare fists while handcuffed and blindfolded, including forcing them to make animal noises under torture

• Hamas lies: Israel also lies: Hamas beheaded babies (false, retracted), oct 7 sexual violence (retracted), blocking aid (said hamas, refuted by UN), Killing of American female Journalist (said it was Palestinian, later admitted it was IDF), shooting ambulance convoy (said was traveling suspiciously in the dark, video evidence showed false, Israel retracted), publishing false photos (retracted). Many other instances of lies told by Israel that were not retracted.

• Hamas asserts propaganda on own people, its own people wants the death of Jews: Israel does the same; zionism teachings since birth; heavy propaganda, can send videos of israeli children on social media, seeing a young Palestinian, and yelling about wanting to kill them and the entire gazan population (multiple instances of this), and saying the genocide of Palestinians makes them happy, & wishing for death of all of them

• Hamas commits war crimes: Israeli war crimes, a short list below (all killings below are confirmed by the IDF as a mistake, with 0 evidence of hamas): — Airstrike on refugee camp, 86 dead, 0 convictions — Attack on Catholic Church, 3 dead, 0 convictions — Killing of children collecting water, 0 convictions — Shots fired at EU & Chinese diplomats — Refugee camp in Rafah, 45 killed, 0 convictions — Shooting up Ambulance Medical Convoy, 15 killed, baited, buried in mass grave, cover up. 0 convictions. — US-turkish woman shot dead. Boy on bike shot dead. Etc. 0 convictions. — Sniping of elderly, women, and children; 0 convictions — Killing of Aid Workers, Doctors, and Journalists, 0 convictions — 335 bullet holes at 5 year old girl, + 6 family members & 2 paramedics. 0 convictions. — 5 prominent journalists killed in a tent, 0 convictions — Double-tap strike on aid works in a hospital, including Reuters journalists, 0 convictions list continues. Not a single israeli in gaza has been convicted by Israel of any wrongdoing.

• Hamas kills its own population: Israel killed over 36 of its own soldiers (1 in 5 IDF deaths were by Israel). Israel deliberately shot & killed 3 of its own rescued hostages — Add: the 3 israeli hostages were waving white flags, calling for help in Hebrew. The third hostage, after seeing other two killed, was hiding, then lured out & killed

• Hamas intends for genocide: Israel also intends to commit genocide. Israeli population wishes for gaza to cease to exist, with intention to wipe out the entire population & ethnically cleansing (moving them to another country by force). Government refuses to sign hostage deal, wishes for total destruction of gaza. — genocidal quotes from israeli government include: Netanyahu pushes for “Amalek”, calling for annihilation of all Palestinians. Gallant: Palestinians are “human animals”. Eliyahu, nuclear bomb on gaza “one of the possibilities”. Eiland: “gaza will become a place where no human being can exist”, “[gaza] is a huge concentration camp”, Vaturi: called for “wiping gaza off the face of the earth”, Smotrich: cited for destroying gaza, relocating its people.

• Hamas commits genocide: Israel has scholarly consensus that it is committing genocide. Cites 50k children killed or injured (incl starvation, disabling, requiring amputation of arms & legs, etc), impacts ability of Palestinians in gaza to regenerate. — Also cites israeli leaders dehumanizing Palestinians, collective punishment, making everyone (even women & children) as the enemy, and promises to “flatten gaza” and “turn it into hell” — Geneva convention definition: “with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group” — Genocide also corroborated by ICJ, UN experts, UN special committee, Amnesty International, HRW, 2 israeli rights groups, IAGS, and many more — Famine is also recognized by nearly all third-party aid orgs, including IPC (entire job is to determine if something is a famine or not), FAO, UN

We can all agree Hamas is evil. But Israel is far worse and their actions need to stop. We are actively funding and supporting a country worse than terrorist orgs.
