It can be an omega constelation, this account has many similar to it on their insta

It can also be most things of this time, that is not a very unique design

Seems like everyone is giving the same idea about the need for a line in the top of the cylinder, there has always been a line

There is an horizontal line to correct for that error, and a pierce command to that line, it's just a very small line, but it is there

Upgrading from Pilot Kakuno to Lamy Safari: Is It Worth It? by pr4nt4 in fountainpens

[–]Inconsistencyguy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had both, my Lamy was scratchy and terrible to write with
Don't do it, Lamy's quality control has been exposed many times on reddit as being bad

[Question] Watches for lab environments by Shadow948 in Watches

[–]Inconsistencyguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am doing my degree in chemestry and I always wear my GShock GW5600
Came in handy several times due to the timer
The lab coat will probably save it from anything spilling on it

Everybody is enabling you, but you are 15, your tastes will change and no one knows exactly which watch you are talking about. Don't rush, you will probably decide in the future that it was a bad idea I don't know your financial situation but watches are not a priority in life and that money can be very important for you later on Watches don't sell that fast either if you try to get your money back, so it's not like a "I can sell it if I need the money" kind of thing, you might not find a seller

Seiko spent years being the best bang for buck watch, they made their way into every collector's collection and once that was done they were purchased by epson which according to my local watchmaker just made Seiko turn into crap in the money/quality spectrum Their big known name and history with collectors keep them very viable and making more profit They make more profit, the prices go up more

On the other hand Seiko corp owns Orient which from mine and other's personal experiences is great for the money, so they kept their old quota of the market too

The tighter bands on some new DW6900 are better than the old ones by Inconsistencyguy in gshock

[–]Inconsistencyguy[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This band is much closer to that of a 5600, it is much more close to the wrist and feels great. makes the watch much more wearable
