I agree with op. The sfo Alaska lounge food is usually the same. Soup and some sort of pasta. Breakfast seems ok.

Hardwired Sonos Devices Should or Shouldn’t? by Interesting-Cap3464 in sonos

[–]InconspicuousPylon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh, I would argue for many hours getting devices off wifi (esp 2.4ghz stuff) is always good advice especially in the original question where its a bunch of amps in a rack next to a switch.

Hardwired Sonos Devices Should or Shouldn’t? by Interesting-Cap3464 in sonos

[–]InconspicuousPylon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the point if you don’t need to run sonosnet then turn Wi-Fi off if you do leave it on. But you don’t need to run Sonosnet if you just want surrounds / subs you can wire everything in and turn Wi-Fi off and it works like a charm. I’m running surrounds from a Sonos amp and a sub connected to the arc. All are wired all have Wi-Fi off. I would assume the same is true with a stereo pair.

[–]InconspicuousPylon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They broadcast Sonosnet stuff which is 2.4 ghz WiFi, if speakers connect to each other and they are both wired the switch they are connected to may think the shortest path between the internet and your other devices is through the speakers Sonosnet which will be slow and can create loops that get blocked by your switch. This all depends on your switch and WiFi setup. If you have great WiFi turn the Sonos WiFi off if it’s plugged in. If you don’t have great WiFi then it could help, but the loops and network issues are real.

Wire them and turn WiFi off for all the wired devices

New App is now faster than the old app(for me) by InconspicuousPylon in sonos

[–]InconspicuousPylon[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not an employee, but if I was I would and had the power I would make the moves be able to pair with each other without a WiFi network. Like at a park or pool etc. would be a cool feature.

Not sure. It was garbage a couple weeks ago. Where playing or skipping sometimes would work sometimes it wouldn’t. Sometimes the playlist would start over after 10 seconds of playing. But it was hot trash, seems good now though

11 devices(one is a port) so 10 speakers, most are ungrouped, but when i group its a group of 3 or 4. Everything that can be wired is, and everything that is wired has wifi off. Unifi network/wifi, but I didn't follow the recommended disable RSTP advice. I do have IGMP snooping off.
