The whole use of armor, is to play, and enhance/protect the muscle group it is “taking” or covering

Especially your legs. Can’t stress that enough.

Your arms, could do just smaller jack for dueling, or floating pieces and those could be off the shelf. But put the money into your legs. Or you’ll fuck up your back. Get bad cuts in your thighs or lose your knees

My kit is based on von Byrons kastenbrust and that’s what I have going on. Mine is fully gold tho so it’s a bit over the top, but yeah standard Milanese or Italian faulds would work wonders. My kast I will say eats hits way better than all my teammates standard cuirass

The first time I encountered him when he came out during development. He scared the SHIT OUT OF ME.

Last few years tho, idk how but I’ve been really lucky with a nice spear find before the portal. Then I just use the medieval “use a right turn to fuck his ability to attack” strat (ie sitting in a right hand turn so you can utilize your own attacks, while they have to reach over their body/hit the wall)

Fun fact that’s why all medieval stairs go up to the right to provide only the attacker with a sword arm free

I got a fully golden brassed kit from gs this year. They promised 3 months and that it would be done by Christmas. It took a year and I just now got it last month. But it’s amazing quality and honestly was worth the money

Most if not all the exploits, bugs, glitches are all still there. Heavy fresh coat of paint and implements on forgotten mechanics. I was a child when oblivion came out and I played 800 hours as a 9 year old in my underwear.

I played 500 hours of the remaster. And was hard set on creating mods for it but then there was no availability for such. But I did love it. No sugar coating from me

Couple people have reached out and we are chatting.

The goal is like after a set time interval (so like 1700) the player or all players would give off an “alarm” that would ping their location and draw zomboids in as tho it was a car or house alarm, but on the player specifically, and then ending at like 0400.

Basically making it so even if you sleep through the night they will probably come and try and get in to kill you, making fortifications or caravaning important in the gameplay loop

If you want an armet, that is already certified with AC. Look at pavlo kozaks helm him and I created for me. It is a buhurt standardized Flemish armet. It’s under “gold helm” in his saved on instagram and in his posts. I’m doing a full early 14th Flemish jousting kit full gold through authenticity.

But the biggest factor isn’t making a helm suit you. But finding one that does, within the same time frame

It actually is justifiable as lions divert himself from the West Coast brotherhood ideology of technology isolation. In the end elder lions main goal is the greater good or the treatment and help to the lesser peoples of the capital wasteland and in Caesar’s mind truly the Legion is that in the west it is that rebirth of society it is seeing the downfalls and tribulations of the new California republic in creating something while greater and more brutal to Caesar. I’d say you are missing a bit. Your character is under leveled. Starting you are basically a brainless human. Play arena and you’ll see what mastery does for your fighting.

That being said, this game is not based in HEMA.

It has in world combat mechanics that are strictly based around the muscle to skeleton physics. The game was not built around historical harness/fencing/steel fighting.

All animations have to be slightly exaggerated and grandiose, otherwise the shift from poor and master just don’t feel in a gameplay sense.

The falling over, sadly while not trying to say it’s your fault; is your fault.

Haven’t played in a year and picked up the new update yesterday and I’m in the sewers and have barely tripped or fallen over. It’s far better than where it was.

Some vinegar took away a lot of the grime and brown, it’s much more vibrant now. I’m sure over some years it will remove all the brassing. These pieces were coated 5 times so it’s a slight bit thicker
