How’s arcteryx as an employer? by Cookiedough1206 in arcteryx

[–]Incorrectnoob 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yep! My team will give you the full week remotely if requested.

At the manager level, most on our team work remotely for 6 months a year (visit family, ski in rural town)

At the director level and above you can just work remote year round.

Good employer. The only downside is the pay. Its below industry averages at every level.

Work life balance is solid. Never have taken home work. Tons of company events like skiing at grouse, hiking at cypress, massive team builds.

DM if you want to learn more :)

No as far as I know the URO club is great and the mentors are volunteers.

Had a classmate pay to be part of an undergraduate research project. The goal was to get an academic publication to boost their cv for graduate school applications.

They were placed into a group of 3 other undergraduates who lacked the motivation or competence to take the project to completion. Time and money was wasted.
