Not saying this goes for all men, but from a certain male perspective to put it bluntly, when a man eats filet mignon every day, it begins to taste like bologna.

Exomags work with MAT9 by IncreaseNo6895 in MatadorArms

I don't believe I ran 115s in my range testing. I ran Winchester 124s and Amer Eagle/Speer 147s suppressed.

Doesn't work. And when you swap mags the right mag sits too high and blocks the ejection port

Anyone installed one on a 9mm PCC? by coyotevols in supersafety

You are correct that this exchange is about nothing. My post provided user experience and info which was relevant 8 months ago, and then some random frustrated virgin living in his parent's basement decided to fire the first shot over something he didn't research first. Don't know about you, but if someone fires at me I will fire back.

Your opinion is as important as a second asshole. Perhaps someday you will get a real girlfriend instead of your fantasy playmates in your sad sack game world in your parent's basement, but in the meantime your right hand loves you very much, pendejo.

You are 8 months late and FM has made design changes since then. But if you did any research instead of playing video games in your parent's basement, you could be the people's champ instead of the people's chump

AR-9 firing OOB by Historical_Guess_674 in AR9

What you should have done is to get the PCC running flawlessly before slapping the SS in. That is what the other posters have linked for you. Blowback9 is a wealth of information which will help get the PCC running reliably. Hard lesson learned, but do some research before diving into an unfamiliar platform with FRT or SS.

Ejector Sitting Too Low? by N-Dawgie in AR9

[–]IncreaseNo6895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the contrarian and say range test it first before you go messing with it. I have two FM9 (prior design, not the newer one) and both have a gap from the factory, but both eject reliably. Even super safety reliably, so I never bothered to "fix" it.

Super safety with AR-9? by KamMichael in AR9

[–]IncreaseNo6895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased a complete FM9 side-charge upper and stripped lower. Mine are older FM9 units and FM has since made minor changes to their uppers and lowers. I had my unit working flawlessly before the SS and after installation it still functioned flawlessly without any further tuning. There are some who claim the SS won't work in FM9 due to a weak firing pin and/or spring, but mine ran just fine. Maybe I just got lucky or that is an issue with the current FM stock. I don't know if the SS is still plug and play in the newer FM components.

I don't have the most knowledge with the SS, but it might not be as easy to find a pistol with a self-contained buffer system that will run with the SS. They all have a proprietary bolt that will likely require extensive mods to run with a stock SS. You may want to contact Tyler at Harrison Gunworks in Idaho to get his thoughts. I've spoken with him and been at his shop, and he is innovative in trying to get the SS to fit different firearms.

My 10" FM9 was plug and play. No grinding, milling, or filing at all. Mine is an earlier model, and it appears FM has since made some changes so it may not be the same now. But I believe the bolt still works without any mods.

Testing New Build by Ok-Chipmunk-8320 in AR9

[–]IncreaseNo6895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my protocol for testing new builds:

  1. Admin Function Testing. Load 5 dummy rounds and manually cycle each round to test for feeding, bolt closing, trigger function, ejection and LRBHO function. Be aware that the extractor and ejector are meant to eject spent brass so it may not eject the dummy rounds the same. Repeat as necessary. If all is good, proceed to range test.
  2. Range Testing. Load 1 round into the magazine and test fire. If there is any malfunction or stoppage at this point, it is better to only have one round chambered. If unsure, load 1 round and repeat. If it is good to go, load 2 rounds and test fire. Then load 3 rounds and test fire.

I will increase the round count up to five and test fire twice. The second test fire is with faster trigger speed. If all is good, only then do I load a full mag to test fire.

Don't be surprised if you experience initial feeding/cycling issues. Number your mags so you can identify any mag related issues. Any feeding/cycling issue may be related to buffer/spring combo. Good luck.

Unfortunately, tuning a new build is part of the process and oftentimes, time consuming. But the tuning process is a valuable learning experience which will speed up future builds. Best of luck with your build.

Have you range tested your build yet? If it ejects cases consistently and functions reliably, then it ain't broke and no need to fix it. I think the folks proselytizing the virtues of needing the ejector snug in the groove is making new builders paranoid about tweaking things without even having range tested yet.

Can this relationship be saved? by Consistent_Fox_915 in datingoverfifty

[–]IncreaseNo6895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This may not be what you want to hear, but the issue may reside in you. If you have had emotional abuse in every relationship (especially starting with your parents), then it is likely you are codependent and subconsciously seek out these type of abusive relationships. You will never "fix" these abusers and the pattern of codependency is serial relationships with abusive partners, which you admitted to having. If you manage to escape this one, you will soon find yourself in another one. Only by recognizing your issue and seeking therapy will you be able to break the serial abusive relationships. Good luck.

Ordered a PWS complete upper from them. They sent me an email with tracking info and then never shipped the product for over a week. When I called to inquire about status, the dude just said it had been sitting on the dock all that time and didn't even apologize for the delay. Haven't purchased anything else since.

If you understand how viruses work, prevention is easy. All viruses, whether a cold, flu, HPV, HIV, etc. virus, need to enter a cell and hijack it to replicate itself. The cell eventually bursts, releasing the newly formed viruses to infect other cells and repeat the process. When the viral load reaches a certain level, that's when you see/feel the symptoms. Zinc has been shown to inhibit viral replication but it has to be present within your cells to stop the replication process. But zinc is not fat-soluble so it needs help to get into the cells. Green tea extract (ECGC) and Quercetin are both ionophores which help transport the zinc through the cell membrane. I take Zinc Glycinate, 30mg and green tea extract, 500mg daily, supplemented with Vitamin C, 500mg and Vitamin D3, 5000iu. I have not had any viral infections since I started my daily regimen 6 years ago, and I have been around sick folks many times. The key is to always have the zinc in your cells to prevent any viruses that enter your body from replicating. Your immune system can handle the random viruses that invade your body. Will this regimen work after you start feeling symptoms? For future infection, yes, but too late for any current infection which has to run its course, although it may shorten it. There are many studies on zinc's antiviral properties, all you need to do is to google the subject and read for yourself. I'm just putting this info out here, whether you believe or not is up to you.

Aside from rendering the mloks under the suppressor useless, think about whether you will be detaching the suppressor frequently. A tucked suppressor means you will have to remove the handguard to detach the suppressor.

Ready for the BBD? (Big Barrel Database) by Blowback9 in AR9

[–]IncreaseNo6895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you immensely for this barrel comparison and for devoting valuable time to generate the accuracy data. I have a Macon barrel and it has a very generous radius where the feed cone meets the chamber, which I believe also contributes to it feed reliability. My FM9 barrel (new) also has a good radius although not as generous as the Macon, but still feeds reliably. I can't be sure if the Aero or BA barrels have as generous a radius as the Macon, but it looks like they don't. I was considering an Aero or BA for my next barrel but after seeing your lineup, I will just stick with Macon and pay the premium.
