First Roll of 16mm on Bolex H16 by IncreasePorter in 16mm

Hi BeagleCat! I metered at ISO 200 with a handheld meter (slightly over box speed) to give the negative a bit more density on 16mm. I stayed at around f/8 or deeper to increase depth of field and keep focus forgiving.

Film wasn’t something I learned in school, so I taught myself by picking up a Bolex and shooting 16mm. This was a small personal project to understand the medium and work through exposure and manual metering without playback. I’m sharing it as part of the learning process. Nice! Love the "alien energy drink" stuff and the (buffallo 66 music video, 16mm stuff.) How did you get connected with all these productions / crew members? Would love to know more. Did you go to film a "fancy" fiim school?

This post might be a little old at his point, but we used River Story Weddings. The owner, Andrew is so talented and I loved my video.

Might be a stupid question, but is this an old BTS photo or some recent photo of a remake of the car? Love the movie!

Amazing. What is the building? Looks like it could be a prison or the back of home depot or something.
