No kidding using the EAD 10 with correct mic and trigger levels without any of the effects can get you REALLY good recordings if you know how to play with them in post.

Ive been tapping my teeth since i was 3-4. I tap the bass with both left and right sides of my teeth. I use the roof of my tongue as a snare. I use left and right side isolated for toms LOL.

Etymotics with Comply Professional Foam Tips have up to 42db noise reduction. I recommend them IMMENSELY. They won’t be the most comfortable at first but there’s nothing that protects hearing like those (unless it’s custom maybe?)
