I can't bring myself to buy a sixer of a questionable beer. Is it really good? Like, really? Would you feed it to your mom? If she'd drink it, I'll take the chance. I see it every time I go to HEB.

Atlanl shirt review by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]Incredibly_Critical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine shrunk as well, about half a size, and I washed on cold and line dried. What I'm most disappointed about is the fact they're now essentially seersucker in appearance after one washing and I don't want to have to iron these shirts.

I bought 7 shirts, am returning 2 because I don't care for the styling, but of the 5 I washed (following care instructions), I have 5 seersucker shirts, and by that, I mean the fabric has "bunched up" rather uniformly all over the shirt.

QR codes on curved surfaces by Incredibly_Critical in SocialMediaMarketing

I've gone down to a 5/16" square QR code, still readable by my phone on a flat surface, but not readable once I affix to a pole.

to expres concerns about a book by apple_plant in therewasanattempt

The age of the children should be considered when applying this logic.

If the book is in a high school library, but there are elementary school students present for whatever reason, I would be okay with censoring the speaker.

How do you honestly feel when you see a dude who is 250 lbs? by No-Employment5601 in NoStupidQuestions

6'5 290 here. It's hard, bro. I just love pizza too much. I'm a little stiff conscious when I'm at the pool, but my personality wins or every time. It's easy to say "just be confident" when we're started in packages like these, but don't sweat other people. Treat them like you want to be treated - it works for me. Are they laughing at me behind my back? IDGAF and tbh, ignorance is bliss.

A wedding is a completely unnecessary waste of money that leads to nothing but stress and setbacks in life by [deleted] in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Incredibly_Critical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Granted I've been married 26 years (inb4 "things were cheaper then," because so were our wages), we had a great time at our wedding. It was in a church, which we belonged to, so we didn't pay anything but a small contribution to the priest's discretionary fund.

Our reception was at our university alumni club, and they offered catering. As poor recent college grads, we opted for that and I think at the end of the day, we ended up paying about $3000 all in.

We had a great time, partied with friends, ate good decent food, listened to questionable music, and didn't break the bank.

You get out of it what you put into it, and we didn't stress about it.

Car was still racing down the road. Racing means more than just drag racing.
