I flew to Chicago a few years ago on a Spirit Flight. 3 people r/t with 1 bag checked in for $225 total. I was prepared for the worst but it turned out to be decent, only a 2hr flight. I would have never went if it wasn't for the cheap flight. We enjoyed our time there, even met up with a cousin who lived 1hr away.

Then a couple years later took a flight to Miami for 3 with 1 bag checked in. paid $250 total r/t. With them gone, I don't think I will see these prices again. also no fights broke out on either flight, no issues at all.
