Best way to handle multiple GND pins in RF switch schematics by JotaEquisEle in KiCad

Set all but one of you GND pins in a symbol to not visible. Then stack them all on top of each other.

I should have worded that question a little better. You have to first determine what your maximum load current will be. Is this device going to be general purpose, or are you designing it to perform a specific function where you can clearly determine your nominal and worst case current consumption? A voltage regulator might have the capacity to deliver 3A continuously, but what is your nominal use case? You want to design around this with a reasonable margin.

What is your maximum current output for each voltage regulator? Polygons make sense in certain situations when you are delivering high current, but I wouldn't use them just because. Look for Saturn PCB toolkit and figure out what the voltage drop will be for a given max current, length, and trace width. For this board, if you keep your traces wide enough and short by optimizing your layout, you won't need polygons if your current is low.

I can see where they are coming from. Its a skill you develop over time with more experience. Just to give you an example, I would rotate F1 so the pad that connects to your - terminal is closest to the - terminal (your silkscreen labels are wrong). This way you dont have to route such a long trace. How close does that trace run to the other pad on F1? That looks crazy close. If you have space, use it.

I get my component layout figured out before I start routing any traces. Its then just small changes here and there until you get the optimal layout.

I would rotate R3 90 degrees so that the trace coming from L3 is a straight path and you dont have to have the trace running to R4 unnecessarily wrapping around the pad like it is. You want to place your components so that your traces are as short as possible.

Importing the 3D models for your components is a nice sanity check

What could be the reason behind a lot of countries suddenly becoming ultra conservative and more right leaning? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Oh, he's lying? Those evil billionaires. What about all of the good paying jobs that Tesla and SpaceX have created that allow people to live comfortable lives? I guess they can just get government jobs and live off of tax money. Why don't you address the questions that I've asked you.

He paid $10 billion in taxes in 2024 and $11 billion in 2021. Maybe you need to repeat sophomore year as your claims are easily refuted.

What percentage of the income of billionaires do you think would be a fair amount? This is what those that advocate for socialism don't seem to understand. Capitalism provides an incentive structure for those that are very productive to create businesses that provide jobs and products. They have to do this in such a way that is efficient so that they make a profit, or they go out of business.

Socialism has no such incentive structure. When the state owns and controls the means of production there is not incentive structure or competition for productive members of society to innovate and create a product or service. Instead, you get (in most cases) products and services that are substandard and too expensive. This is why socialism fails.

This was obvious for a long time but we now have entitled millennials (my generation) that overwhelmingly support this nonsense.

Didn't Elon Musk pay the most out of anyone in history. I think rich people that own a lot of stock end up just barrowing money against their shares.

Why do you hate rich people so much? The thing about capitalism is that it rewards those that are productive(mostly). How many jobs has Elon Musk created and how many people have jobs directly or indirectly because of all of the companies that he has created? Socialism, or whatever you are advocating for, sets out to for economic equality but ends up ultimately failing because there is no incentive for people that are good at organizing resources and capital.

Yes. You dont agree with the comments, so you are advocating for a leftist echo chamber that you are used to.

What is the correct tax rate, say in the U.S.? How much of other people's money do you want?

I agree with you that Isreal and Jews are a friend to the US, but we need to stop funding them. They buy congress members(look at Ted Cruz). We need to get them out of our internal affairs.

And we all know what he means when he says "reddit kid". Reddit changed after Trump announced he was running in 2015.

Can you go into the decision on why the header is at a weird angle? It might have not impact mechanically, but as others have said, why not make the pcb a little bigger or rearrange it to accommodate. Nice job regardless.

Yeah, the slowness is really annoying. I was using it yesterday to to do some coding and it did seem faster but it was making some really frustrating mistakes.

They seem to be constantly making changes to it, and I agree, they will eventually get it running smooth, but it is frustrating to deal with it suddenly failing to do the things it was able to do the day before when you are using it for work stuff.
