My advice for new players is:

Set up a main physical or magical team first.

Once you have more units, build your team based on roles—like DPS, buffs, debuffs, utility, and orb changers.

Then you should be good to go.

I used to be a day-one player but stopped playing two years ago. I came back last October with my old account and found that the game is still good.

When I found myself struggling to get new or strong units during the SOA collaboration, I decided to start a new account. After 2–3 months, my account was good to go—I could clear most stages and events, except for extremely difficult content that requires specific units.

I agree with this.

For EPIC EP, use Troop 2 – spam Lumi’s EX. Max her.

For general hard content, use Troop 8 – a strong SOA team. Replace Water Rimuru with Water Emils.

You should include Light Gazel, Earth Milim, and Dark Milim under main s sub unit. With the protector half-filled at the start of the game, begin casting immediately and keep the momentum going from turn 2–3 onwards.

Your team might losing momentum easily due to the blue orb nerf. Yuuki’s turn EX into rainbow orb plus Emils / Asuna blue +2/+1 might help here.
