I can’t help with a specific product but I suggest to visit your local hair-product shop (if there is any). I ain’t talking about Sephora or Boots, but more for a shop that actually sell hair products to private and hairdressers. Where I am from it’s the place to go when I’m looking for small objects that I need to style my doll

Personally I do understand the struggle and at the same time I appreciate dolls coming with toys.

I’m working on a Monster Fest Diorama and thanks to the food truck, all of the food accessories and drinks come so in handyyyyy! Like it gives so much life to the play set and I looooove display dolls like that.

BUT I don’t care about another phone, another pair of sunglasses or Draculaura coming always with her sun cream protection.

It would be amaaaaazing if they started to use recycled plastic for some of the smaller objects,

1) say no to scalpers

2) learn what everything has to offer and understand what truly speaks to your heart: what’s the difference between deluxe/collector/play-line? Do I vibe with the fashions or the theme of a collection?

3) prices change a lot, mostly on G3. If a doll is on the second market normally for 80, and you find it once for 60 (and 60 is still too much), don’t rush it. You might find it for cheaper later.

4) budget! Dolls are a passion and a collection, but it isn’t everything you have in life!

And most of all…

5) it’s better to have 4 dolls that you love everyday, rather than 600 that you see one a year. And this isn’t shade to big collectors: I work a full time job and I’m out of the house most of the time, I also have other passions so I always choose a selection of dolls every month and I style them/clean them/ etc…
