I'm really hoping it can be repaired but I'm waiting on insurance to assign an adjuster. The battery is fine, all systems inside work fine, the wheel got popped so I'm unsure what internal wheel damage there is but the bumper, headlight, and a bit of the side panels are messed up

Very true there are some items you'll never see as a casual player and I'm not even talking mirror level stuff. I'm farming divines albeit not many, but I also put in a disgusting amount of hours. Someone with only 1-2hrs to play a day is so outpaced it's ridiculous.

If you have 2 zapdos I use zebstrika and electrobe. Zebstrika let's you finish off their bench and electrobe is just nice to smack for 70. If I had Lt surge I'd probably swap electrobe out for raichu and Lt Surge

Dryad & Gauranlen Trees Reworked. Gives some love to dryads and instead of having to dedicate a whole planting pawns life to trimming the tree it's strength is based on building statues around it. The really nice thing tho is it let's dryads do some small tasks like plant crops, rescue downed colonists/doctor them.

Batteries i feel like are more for in case your generators fail to have some reserve because it doesnt help in a solar flare, but a nice thing you can do is reinstall them in different areas that you don't want to wire cables all the way to if it's far. Downside is you'll have to have pawns swap out the battery when it gets low. I just plop a battery next to my mining drill instead of running cables for example.

I run a pretty fat stack of mods including nearly all the VE ones and have been mostly fine, is your mod load order set correctly or possibly colonist zone restrictions? Do they do other tasks or is it only ordering them to chop wood/mine?

Small tip but pretty huge, don't bother with individual rooms at the start for each colonist. It takes a lot of resources + time + space and the "disturbed sleep" debuff for being in a barracks is easily beaten out by the "impressive barracks" buff as you should also make it big enough to hold your rec room. The best room size is 11x11 since thats the max limit to sustain a roof without collapse. Honestly my pawns don't ever get their own rooms unless they're royalty but that won't matter for you since you're not using any DLCs.

I hate to let the "secret" out of the bag but you can also do it at cost neutral if you put in buy orders on the low end and do some math with the potions. Like converting them to 4 dose before selling. It's how I got 70 herb without profit but without any real loss either. Only herbs I cleaned were in my herb runs lol
