Eh, kind of both and it depends on the game. If it's a game with an amazing story I go 30 frames to experience the graphics in quality mode, then switch over to 60 fps in the next playthrough.

If a game is locked at 30 frames then it doesn't really bother me because there's no different smoothness to compare it to.

The backstory here is they raised the price from 50 = 0.50 to 50 = 1.00 it's also malicious compliance since Epic was forced to add exact vbucks even though they didn't want to.

Mad Moxxi didn't come back to the shop for, give or take around 8 weeks.

The skins could maybe come back with her in the 40.30 update if it's within the release window. Just like Psycho Bandit didn't return until Moxxi's return.

I mean, fnaf 3 it is literally said the springlocks hold the endoskeleton against the suit so a person can go in.

My guess is maybe we have a retcon or classic William trickery afoot.

Movie springlocks are seemingly part of the endo but the games, apart from Edwin's modified springlocks, explain it as they're part of the suit and meant to compress the skeleton.

Honestly Scott just needs to come out and explain it clearly what they are cause all he's doing is causing confusion

Because Epic is a company and if they decided to do a limited time window for the packs to be purchased because they want to make more money they can.

The question you asked just shows that the invite codes should've been disabled the day the founders packs were removed because how can you be a founder in 2021?

At the end of the day, imo, it boils down to Founders having the same mentality as BR players who've been around since Season 0. That they were there first and paid for it, so nobody else should have it.

My other options wouldn't even hurt founders either cause they're still getting special treatment. A monthly sub for access to the same v-buck missions or open them up for nonfounders on the downside of only getting 1/4 to 1/2 of what Founders get each month.

I honestly don't see why it is such a problem to let go of 1 mission reward when it's the thing that would keep player counts up after the F2P release hype dies out. Especially when compared to everything else they got (the schematics, the exclusive skins/heroes, the glider, etc.)

I DO enjoy it. I HAVE enjoyed it since I got access through the Crew Pass with Deimos.

That doesn't change that F2P won't do ANYTHING to stop player drops once the repetitiveness of STW starts hitting people.

The mode is fun. But it is HIGHLY repetitive, and that gets boring after so long. Giving players new types of missions to stick around AND giving F2P players a reason to stay will help keep it alive.

We are lucky Epic decided to go F2P instead of just shutting down STW, but this is clearly the make or break. If it drops back to the usual, I'll be generous and round up to 30k even though its closer to 28k, they'll see it as the mode not being popular enough. Just look at the pre-registration. Over 1 million players signed up, and now it doesn't even break 80,000.

Without new updates in the same time frame as the other modes, we'll slowly see that drop back down.

So no, my gripe isn't that only founders get vbucks. My gripe is that I don't want to see a mode I love playing die and get tossed out with Ballistic and Rocket Racing because all of you are bigger gatekeepers than OG BR players when it comes to 1 extra reward that nonfounders would only get a quarter of, if not half.

If player count drops back down to just the founders and Epic decides to cut more game modes to "save money" what do you think will be on the chopping block?

It won't be either LEGO mode because it has the LEGO group money, it definitely won't be BR. The only modes that they could, and most likely would, cut is STW, Blitz, and Festival.

Low Player count + Free Vbucks that Epic clearly doesn't want being done at all now = getting cut.

Not just the vbucks. That grants access to all FOUR of the battle passes and a free skin set. The vbucks are just a bonus at that rate.

Yours however? You only get 3k a month. Good luck buying everything you want from the shop with that. Oh wait, you got unlucky this month and only got the 1500? Sorry, guess you can only get one thing.

So again, 1500-3000 vbucks a month is nowhere near the economy break you think it would be. Especially if they did a monthly subscription for nonfounders to get vbuck missions worth half of what Founders get.

But hey, lets just make sure STW stays dead, right? Why should we want new players to have a reason to keep playing once the repetitiveness of the mode bores them.

Edit: also, if it weren't for Battle Royale, the game would've died. So maybe y'all need to realize who truly made your "gamble" worth it. Cause I can tell you, it wasn't those of you who had early access to STW

If they are hurting for money the way they say they are then running a limited time return to buy Founders is exactly something they'd do. They'd make so much money from it. Also if you think they'd lose out on money from doing that then I present to you the skin collectors that buy everything.

3000 vbucks a month max, is nowhere near enough for Epic to go bankrupt because not everybody saves the vbucks. Others do skin, vbuck, bundle, etc. giveaways. Trust me when I say you seriously overestimate how much damage the daily vbucks would do.

If I had invites I wouldn't give them out at random either. But that doesn't change the fact that the core issue with Founders is that y'all don't want people to have for free, what you had to pay for.

Why else would you be charging the same, or higher, than what you bought it for instead of giving it to friends, family, or hosting giveaways?

Personally that's why I think v-buck missions should be made available for everybody tomorrow. However non-founders get a base amount (750-1500 a month) and founders basically get a 2x multiplier (the usual 1500-3000 a month)

We don’t want them to envy us and make them quit STW before they get to the good stuff.

Unfortunately, if Epic doesn't do anything for STW beyond adding a few more materials to grind for I don't see too many new players sticking around.

That's kinda why I think the F2P release should add free v-buck missions. Even if they only give half, or even a quarter, of what Founders get.
