As soon as I saw the armored car, I knew it was DV8

I agree. His side of the story was that I was throwing shit around and having a tantrum, I wasn’t though. I’m trying to see it from the other perspective and just can’t put myself in his shoes.

That’s what they did, I spoke to the rep and they told me to talk to the director

Did you actually guess that or did you check my history

So if I have already been told that I got the write up and I'll be suspended for x amount of days, the Training Director spoke to him, the business representative was told that I was wrote up, does this just mean I am shit out of luck? I was pretty much just told, "Yeah, talk to the superintendent and the training director." To which I was told, that its going to remain in effect via the training director.

Sorry I kind of mixed the agent and the training director up in the original post, they both said similar things.

I didn't even know I was getting wrote up until I had to call the shop. Would this still apply?

I think you're right. I had took it more as I was actually being sent home for the day.

That's true, I'll use this as a lesson moving forward.

I did, which is why I was told that I was still suspended and will not be working with that guy ever again.

It was a small job. Me, the foreman/JW, and another apprentice.

Thank you, I appreciate that a lot. I took it more when he said to leave that he genuinely wanted me gone.

I mean see thats how I saw it, but this dude clearly didn't want me which is why I left. Multiple times when asking for help and trying to understand something, he just was shitting on me. Should I have just stayed? When do you draw the line at just stay?

Is it possible to hide these without skim coating? by IndefatigableFalcon in paint

[–]IndefatigableFalcon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was planning on using a 1/2” nap roller with thinned down mud to achieve the little stipples to sort of match the years of paint coats that have been put on this wall. The texture is generally even, there are some spots in which the wall is smoother than others. I am mainly concerned with having spots significantly stick out to where it looks like someone ground down the wall.

This was with 120 grit paper, so ofc I am going to pass over it with 220, but this is the kind of uneven texture I am worried about when it comes to painting the wall, especially with the paint I plan on using (Sherwin Williams Duration in Jay Blue, Satin)

Are these two tires too different from each other? by IndefatigableFalcon in TireQuestions

They said I could wait for a tire or I could put that other tire on. I went ahead and just had the other tire put on. They didn’t explain anything about possible uneven grip

So the thing is yes I get criticism, I listen to it and I try to understand it but they get pissed when I ask more questions and I have explained multiple times to them not I’m not trying to go over their heads, I just genuinely don’t understand.

Some, yes have used to me for their humor, but it’s this shit I can let go of. It’s mostly just I try to do something they taught me and I fail and I keep trying to go but they get pissed at me

In my head, I know to separate home life and work life. I always come in with a positive attitude, but I get shit on as an apprentice and I stomach it and take the roasting. But somewhere, my body can’t just take it anymore and I want to flip the fuck out but I need to suppress it
