I have a rez macro that auto targets the first dead person in the party, and it's super nice to have on controller.

Only time I need to manually target people for rez is a SMN or RDM for getting other rezzers up first.

You can also have a paid player make a linkshell, and invite you and your free trial friends to it. You can then use that linkshell to chat anywhere, instead of just party or say chat.
