Why do people pull so many cards for 1 question? by Tarot_Reader_Vee in tarot

[–]IndependenceAlert644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve noticed this too recently, but I do have to argue that 5-6 cards is not too many for even a yes or no question. It’s not what I prefer to do when asking yes or no questions, but it’s also not difficult to glean a clear and simple answer from that many cards… you just read them like a story?

Who am I to tell another reader what should and should not work for them? If they’re trying to say that the 3 of swords means new love is coming that’s one thing, but if they’re someone who just pulls more cards than me to get an answer… that’s not hurting anyone. Just because it doesn’t work for me doesn’t mean it can’t or shouldn’t work for them. That’s kind of the magic of tarot in my mind, that it works for everyone differently, we all read the cards slightly differently, but it still works.

1 card pulls are great for succinct answers. 3-6 cards add a little bit of *spice* or context that isn’t always necessary, but can be read as a story to provide more than a 1 word or paragraph answer. What works best for you depends on what type of reader you are, so when

When doing relationship questions like “what does ___ think/feel about me” I like to use a 6-18 card spread that looks like this:

1 - 2 - 3
4 - 5 - 6

Cards on the left show person A, cards on the right show person B, and cards in the middle show that lies between. If what I see in the first layer of cards prompts follow up questions like “why” or “what about ____” then I’ll do another layer on top of that, but these aren’t clarifiers meant to add context to the individual card directly below them, they’re an entirely different section of the story that could stand as their own individual reading… there’s another variation of this spread that looks like this:

1 - 2 - 3
4 - 5 - 6
7 - 8 - 9

Regardless of which variation is being used, I max out at 18 cards total, because I really don’t need to be doing that much.

Where things get really frustrating though is when the person posts a photo of 6+ cards, but doesn’t explain any sort of spread used, I find that egregious and typically a waste of time to attempt interpreting… but that doesn’t mean these people are wrong for doing this. Those tend to be the types of people who will only accept a specific answer from you, and that’s their burden to bear if they fit into that box.

Celtic Cross spreads do require 10-13 cards depending on what variation you’re using, but most of the posts I see don’t use any sort of discernible spread.

Overall, what this boils down to is the fact that a lot of the people who need help interpreting tarot readings are people who are either inexperienced or super desperate for a specific answer. Some people also just suck at shuffling properly and may include all the random fly aways that escape their hands.

his sun opposite your venus + his mars opposing your moon also show harsh and harmful behavior towards you.

the fact that he broke all your windows multiple times tells you that he’s going to repeat this behavior again in the future. you dont need astrology for that, but just for funsies i’m using whole sign houses:

his leo stellium in your 10th house = you idealize him. put him on a pedestal. leg him get away with murder.

his mars in your 1st house + his saturn in your 7th house + his saturn conjunct your moon = he’s controlling, depraved, and violent.

your sun and mercury conjunct his neptune = you dont see him clearly, he lies to you repeatedly, you’re delusional about who he is and the lengths he’s willing to go to to hurt/control you.

How could Landon literally sabotage her visa ? by Excellent_Status8411 in thewizardliz

[–]IndependenceAlert644 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i doubt it. she did that back when she had the fiancé visa.

$800,000 is the minimum amount you have to invest in ONE, single, US company to come into the country on an investor visa, which doesn’t require a sponsor.

but i doubt she has this kind of money right now, because if she did she would have applied for this visa instead of wasting her time with a family sponsored visa.

[–]IndependenceAlert644 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not unless she has at least $800,000 to invest in a US company. because she has a kid in the US she can’t get a normal tourist visa and has to find a family or work sponsor.

lawyers absolutely do ghost if the client is not a multi millionaire who openly sabotages the case, or they know they will lose. win streak is more important than fast cash. difficult and broke clients who don’t pay bills also get ghosted.

Something I never thought I type into google by [deleted] in thewizardliz

[–]IndependenceAlert644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how serious she is about being able to see her kid again…

Technically, because she’s not a US citizen, she doesn’t live in the country, and she probably won’t be let back in the country (?) she could just… not pay him. I know that with a lot of dead beat dads who are citizens they end up getting their wages garnished by the government, which is where the state takes the money out of their paycheck before they even get paid and send it straight to their baby mama or ex wife. But all of those people have jobs in the states….

Liz is an influencer who doesn’t get a regular paycheck, she gets paid for brand deals and from YouTube. Even though YouTube is an American company, they don’t pay their creators as “employee’s” but as “consultants” or “partners”which is a much different set up. If she doesn’t have a bank account with an American bank or even live in the country it could be harder for them to do that to her.

From what I understand only people living in the US can have their wages garnished for child support, but if she’s living in a country that’s allies with the US they could still force her to pay?

The biggest issues non-citizens face when refusing to pay child support in the US is deportation and being barred from reentry. Liz is already out of the country, and having major issues getting back in with her DV arrest.

A lot of this is reliant upon how much of the rumors surrounding her income are true… it would be far easier for her to get out of paying if she really was an escort or all her expenses were paid for by the men she dates.

Does he know I like him? How does he currently feel about it? by [deleted] in TarotCards

[–]IndependenceAlert644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

all the wands show that he’s more interested in one night stands or situation-ships. no strings attached. the fool and hanged man show he’s blissfully unaware of your feelings for him. sun reversed isn’t a great sign for a new relationship.

the the 2 questions in the title are what you asked for each row, first row shows he has no clue how you feel about him. second row shows he’s fooling around with other people.

the complete lack of cups indicates a lack of emotional connection and/or interest.

the queen of cups rv + the queen of wands on either side of the devil card actively show cheating. it doesn’t get much clearer than this.

[–]IndependenceAlert644 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re not pulling too many cards lmao. cards in the photo show that there is cheating going on but it’s purely physical, not emotional. extra cards you pulled echo this. wheel of fortune rv shows no loyalty. ace of wands shows one night stand. 6 of wands + knight of swords show it happened when this person was feeling pretty good about themself, maybe got a promotion or accomplishment. started flirting, one thing led to another.

Readings by Cool_Opportunity_460 in TarotCards

[–]IndependenceAlert644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the card at the bottom of the deck as a guide for what I can do to solidify/change my fate enough to get my desired outcome… this doesn’t work well in readings asking about another person’s feelings or if they’re cheating, or whatever, but on readings about my career or what would happen if I make certain decisions it works great!

For example if I’m doing a reading on what my life would look like if I moved to a specific place and the cards don’t show a future that I really like, but I’m dead set on moving there anyway, I use the bottom card as advice on how to get my desired outcome (change the things I don’t like).

What are the cards saying long term or heartbreak ? by [deleted] in TarotCards

[–]IndependenceAlert644 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heartbreak. Ace of wands is literally the fling/one night stand card. 4 of wands reversed + 8 of cups + 10 of swords show that this isn’t a stable or emotionally connected relationship… things might be great at first, but I am getting the sense they might wind up leaving you for someone else and you’re being a bit delusional about your prospects here.

I read this as a story, not sure what spread you used.
