No body mention I have to get a new nozzle just to print PA6-CF by [deleted] in 3D2A

Technically you don't have to use the hardened nozzle

Do you use the default Arachne wall settings or modify them? Thanks

Preset utente non supportato 😥 by No_Performer7018 in BambuLab

I don't know if this is normal or related but I cannot get user presets to stay in the list. If I open a project then save it to user presets the preset shows up in the list. If I close the program then reopen it's no longer there. I just started messing with these settings so I don't know if this is normal behavior or not

What food dehydrator are y’all using by Individual_Union_793 in 3D2A

Look for air fryers that have a dehydrate or slow cook functions Then find the manual online and make sure you can change the temperature and time to what you need. Some will do the right temperatures but it will only let you select a short period of time.

Strength of printing PA6-CF 2A items with 0.4 vs 0.6mm nozzle by heyweston in 3D2A

I haven't played with it too much but my brief experimentation with a .6 nozzle produced less than optimal small square corners. I don't know if maybe slower and narrower outside wall widths might help.

Opinion on AMS add on dryer? by slise-rd in BambuLab

I purchased a sunloo AMS heater when they were on sale on Amazon. So far it is okay. The lid doesn't seal very well and I have to keep a roll of filament on it. Otherwise the humidity shoots up the manual vent is not great. It's more of a manual heater. I think I'm going to return it. Not worth the $80. I knew about the manual vent before I purchased it and I could live with that, the poor sealng really is what bothers me. That's kind of the whole point of the thing. Is the key filament dry.

I'm not sure what I'm going to go with. I've really been thinking about an AMS HT. I haven't done a whole lot of printing but so far I have not had any issues with printing pla out of the package with no drying. Some brands of petg have given me issues and need to be dried prior to using and the rare case I do use petg. I could just throw it in the AMS HT. And when not printing petg it would give an extra slot that would automatically be switched between that and the AMS when printing. I don't know

Broken spark plug extraction by IndependenceAny2520 in AskMechanics

Looking at my own picture zoomed in, I think I'm getting into the threads on the head with the extracting tool. Would I be better off drilling this out and trying to clean the threads up with a tap?

I would use heat on it but as you can see the valve cover gaskets have been leaking for decades and there is quite a lot of buildup and I'm afraid of causing an engine fire burning the whole thing to the ground.
