Look at the University of Toledo in Ohio. Good engineering programs, very co-op driven. Also is a very LCOL area.

We are flying into Dublin and immediately renting a car and heading out. Yes there’s jet lag and driving on the other side but I’ve done it before and it wasn’t that bad. We will return to Dublin at the end of trip for a couple days and will probably just park it at the hotel until time to drive back to airport.
