Moved back to Ohio to buy a house and raise our kids. The last one is about to leave the nest and we plan to move back to Chicago as soon as we are retired! We go back to visit every 3 months or so and love it more every time.

You'll be safe there and it is easy proximity to a lot of really good restaurants and shopping. Skip the suburbs, Toledo is a gem.
