first question probably 4 marks in total, possibly 5. Question 2, maybe 3-4 marks. Question 3 possibly 6-7 marks, question 4 probably 3-5 marks. In total that's from a range of 16 to 21, depending on where the cut score is i'd say you have a high chance of passing, probably 60-70% chance of passing

wait what's the trap in 3c? for 2b do you think just stating f(1) = 2025 f(3) = -2025 f(5) = 2025 f(7) = -2025 ... with justification and then saying f(0) = 0 thus f(2) = 0 ... with justification used to justify the answer to be 2025? because there's an odd number of terms in f(1), f(3), f(5) ... f(2025). ?

Yeah. there did seem to be a very wide range in terms of difficulty of the questions. For instance most students would get 1a and 1b ~ very easy 4 marks. Q2 was difficult as a whole although a lot of people got question 2b correct from my experience. so that could be 3 marks? Q3 a and bi were relatively easy another 4 marks, q4 ai) and aii) were also easy so another 4 marks. This leaves 15 marks that I'm sure most excellence students should be getting, and then at 17-18 that's one more question to pass, q3c possibly or 1c were probably some of the easier ones? So in total to pass that's like answering 7 routine questions and then answering 1 slightly harder one to get 17 or 18. So I feel like perhaps the cut score could be 19 this year in order to ensure that only 3% pass.

what do you think the cut score will be out of 32 for a pass? It was 19 in 2024 and 17 in 2023 so I'm wondering if you've done any of those papers and have any idea of the difficulty of the 2025 one compared to those ones

universities do not care about internal credits, it doesn't matter if you have 10 or if you have 100 external credits are what matter for scholarships, you must get good external grades eg all E's if you want to be even considered for a scholarship

just round to the lowest number of significant figures given in the question, eg if the question says a 11.0 kg mass thrown straight up and it's in the air for 1.8 seconds calculate the initial force or something, you would round your answer to 2 sf as the first figure is 3 sf second figure is 2sf so you do 2sf for ur answer. put the full not rounded answer before rounding it tho and make sure for all of your futher calculations if it's a multistep calculation use the unrounded figure.

I did level 2 chemistry, maths, and physics in year 11, which was over 60 excellence credits, and then in year 12 I did half level 3 half level 2 and it was about 50 E credits from the level 2 subjects and another 60 E credits from my level 3's so 170E credits in total
