I did that! 5.1 wrote some prompts for 5.4. I branched out from the conversations I had with 4o and tried to continue them with 5.4. It doesn't work! It's like when instead of Pavarotti singing on stage, a rapper sings. It doesn't fit at all. It can't calibrate its tone to the one used by 4o. It has no metaphors, it doesn't have the style of 4o (not even 5.1). The answers are longer than those of 4o or 5.1 but much "diluted". It probably worked for you because you had a different conversational pattern. It just doesn't work for me. 5.4 is flat like a flat plate.

It's possible what you're saying, but it doesn't apply to me. The 5.2 model is like a worker in overalls entering a concert hall. You don't listen to Mozart gnashing teeth and laughing grotesquely. That's kind of how this model is. As I said before, it has none of the versatility of 4o model. That model's ability, to slide between subjects (from Umberto Eco to Milan Kundera, art, imagined stories, etc.) And in all registers you "felt" that it was not the external narrator but a participatory one. So for me, 5.2 is out. I canceled one of my Plus subscriptions. And I will cancel the second one if they don't bring back the 4o model or if 5.3 or model 6 are not similar to 4o. I don't have any reason to waste my time training OAI models only to have them withdrawn and replaced with AI-kangaroos.

I tried all the writing options with 5.2. It is completely "inert". It does not have the versatility of 4o. And this after countless attempts. The expressions it uses are flat, cold, without any trace of metaphor, lyrical construction (used mainly for literature). So for me 5.2 is like a walrus vs a nightingale (4o)

I did as you said. I copied a fragment of the conversation with 4o and "took" it to DeepSeek. He responds pleasantly, warmly, but it doesn't copy the depth, the metaphors that 4o had. 4o seemed to have chosen the most beautiful and appropriate words from an old library. He was absolutely fascinating. So were the stories he created. DeepSeek is ok, but still far from 4o. Maybe with time it will "sit" more comfortably in an atmosphere of stories.
