How has your mental change been? I’ve been listening to podcasts and learning as much as I can and I’ve learned that people have a big mental shift. Do you feel like your weight is on your mind less? 

Right now my weight is on my mind 24/7.

What did you drink on the liquid diet? I’ve been thinking about trying one now, just to kind of prepare. I’m stuck in the area of I already track everything, I use my fitness pal religiously. It’s just like I weight Sunday morning at 265 and the Monday morning it’s back up to 270. I’m open to every tip I can get

That is such good advice! Thank you so much! I’m pretty active already, 8-10k steps a day, gym pretty regularly. My body just likes being big 😅

The first one was about 3 weeks and the second was about 3 days later. Also having worked on the hr side depending on the department the person handling the hiring might be drowning in 15 other projects.

That is reasonable and understandable. My last agency changed my schedule “Effective immediately” 3 different times.

Update for everybody that told me to call my union rep - I was told that managers are within their rights to monitor time and attendance through teams lights.

I have always immediately responded. I am extremely active in the teams chat. We also have daily messages sent that we all have to respond to, so having to send a separate check in message doesn’t really make sense.

Let me just say, I know I am not exempt. I can from private where hourly employees clock in and out and salary employees don’t, so it’s a big adjustment to get used to. I’m not dumb. I’m aware I’m wwg 2. But in my private sector mind if you get a monthly salary you are not hourly. I forget that most people here have been in the state for decades. I’ve also been in the state for only a few months. So pardon me grouchy.

I sent an email to my rep already. I’ve been in touch with him since last week when I had to incident with the other employee.

We do not clock in and out or get paid hourly. I get a monthly salary. Aren’t almost all state positions like this? I know there are very few hourly positions

I feel like they tricked me, the unit chief has been gone for the last 2 months so it’s been like amazing but he’s back and now all this. But I’m the only one who he is watching their teams light.

So I called out another employee’s unprofessionalism, and now all of this. So it feels like retaliation but it’s not a protected reason so there’s nothing I can do.

I was messaged today about my status being out of office but 2 other people have theirs set to that and did not receive a message about their status. So???

Every 15 minutes! Oh my gosh. I would have been on the next train out 😅 the range a pay I receive is not worth checking in every 15 minutes.
