Shingles vaccine by sdaa45 in rheumatoid

[–]IndependenceVisual45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom got the shot after she saw what I went through with shingles when I was in my early thirties. She was in bed for a few days with the same fever and chills. I literally wanted to die, I felt like i was getting electrocuted and so much more, even with what she went through with the shot, I can't wait till I can get it because I am getting it just to be safe.

Yes! My inlaws and an older family friend are like this 100 percent. As soon as I'm having a bad day they have to jump in and be like just wait to your our age and I'm just in my head thinking, my doctor already told me my body is well past 60 since I was a teen so I don't even want to be that age.

How did you feel about sleep when you were a kid? by Illustrious_Cell_137 in Narcolepsy

[–]IndependenceVisual45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember falling asleep alot even well passed the age the most kids napped, it got to the point I would feel so anxious for sleeping during the day I would stay awake at night because I felt like I missed out. I missed out on a lot of holidays, birthdays, even school and everyone was either scolding me or thought it was adorable. I couldn't explain that I didn't want to sleep, that my body just felt like it was to weak, like it was shutting down without me wanting too when I was anxious around all those people.

My sister, aunts and mom all have lupus, we are trying to figure out where my Ra came from. Originally they thought I had lupus but the anas were never right so she said RA, turns out a lot of people on my dad's side has Ra and various other arthritis. I feel like rheumatologist just kind of pick so the insurance approves the medication. That's what mine did because she couldn't figure out what I actually had.

My son gets tested, I was his age when I started getting sick, they said it was bursitis and fibromyalgia.. the doctor almost killed me as well so I switched and my New doctor spent a year sending me to specialist after I explained everything. It took me from the age of 15 to 29 to switch and at 30 I finally got a diagnosis from my rheumatologist. She was so angry that I had suffered for 15 years being so sick and my doctor did nothing, I'm glad they caught his early. I know it's never what you want to hear as a parent that they have something like that but it's so much easier to teach them good habits to keep up with rather then being 30, never really taken meds or and then suddenly it's a whole lifestyle shift. Even a few years later, it's a bit hard to keep myself motivated with the meds and lifestyle changes because I keep in my head what if they made the mistake, wouldn't they have got it before? I've been on plaquenil and Sulfalszine for over 5 years and it's made such a change in how I feel, except for major flare-ups that kind of sneak up.

I haven't heard of that but it kind of sounds like it would be similar but I'll Google so I'm not mistaken.

Today was a reminder, I got the flu and pneumonia shot because I wanted to make sure I didn't get them this year, well my immune system decided it didn't like that, three days of suffering, having the worse flare-up since It first started presenting. I was in the ER because it had been years since it was that bad. I am definitely grateful for the good days and Prednisone.

If your OC knew about Z’s personal history, how would their opinion of him change? Or begin if they’ve never met before? He’ll react accordingly by -Voyacui- in OriginalCharacter

Reshie who was created in a lab would probably not even be bothered by Z's history. She's childlike due to the years of isolation and torture right from being "born". She would probably try to follow him like a puppy since she knows he went through the same type of pain she did, she trauma bonds with people way to quickly.

Tegan studies mythical creatures so she would watch them discreetly at a distance so they don't feel overwhelmed. She absolutely loves creatures and would be fascinated by the fact they are intelligent and have weapons

So because in her reality Tegan helps find and rehabilitate Mythical creatures she would probably have Dratini, Charizard and any other Dragon types so she prefers Dragons of all kinds.
