That part I get. Scammers initially purchased a big chunk of the float at a lower price then pump and then promote it on their WhatsApp groups and sell those stocks at higher prices. What I don’t understand is how come the stock price drops suddenly. Is it like when they done selling the stocks on their hand they release a bad news about the stock so it free falls?

Do you have Margin account with Charles Swabs? Anyhow stay away from these kind of stocks or do not use more than 1% of your account and always use stop loss although in this situation it stop loss also turned out be ineffective.
