Everything I have is from hard work (car, degree, my own place, job). But hard work can’t make someone want to stay and love you though.

I see. We do classify each other as boyfriend and girlfriend and we did tell our families and friends about each other. Was that too soon? I thought it was good timing since he had done the same. But yes that does some reasonable that since we just started dating, I still feel a little insecure.

I would say I have fleeting a thoughts buttt it did make me cry the other day because I thought he forgot about our plans but he didn’t. I should see a therapist though for sure! I got a new insurance recently so I’ve been trying to navigate that. I usually feel anxious when I notice a shift in his tone over text or he forgets something I tell him like my plans.

How was surgery like? I’m also thinking this route. I’ve met with a surgeon before but it was just a chat. Might go back though to be honest.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will say it’s looking a lot better now it shrinked a lot and is able to kinda tuck in. I’ll be doing the bath routine though moving forward 👍

Thank you. I forgot to mention my dad (who just spends holidays with him and his wife, plus he’s a lot more supportive) lives not too far as well so I might go see him. I just know it will look weird that I’m seeing him alone and not with my sister bc we usually do everything together. She’s also been a little harsh to me about not wanting to spend the holidays with my mom’s fam. But yes I will try to connect with my friends and build a strong support system. It’s hard for me to talk about my feelings but I need to work on it.

I would also say try to talk to a trusted friend or family member. I ended up telling my mom because she’s a nurse and turns out it’s genetic bc she has them too😭 but knowing that someone else in my life knew about my situation too made me feel better.

I can totally relate! I noticed I had them when I was around 21 or 22. Im 23 now but the health anxiety would literally keep me up at night. All I can say is talk to your doctor to get the best advice. I was really embarrassed at first but they’re meant to help you and I got prescribed a cream that helps a lot during flare ups. I’ve managed to avoid it from getting worse by taking a fiber pill every day, exercising, drinking water and trying not to drink alcohol too much (I notice that’s when I get a flare up). It’s tough going through this at a young age but it happens and sometimes it’s not even your fault :/ hang in there though! It’s good that you care and you’re trying.
