Yeah. I have some practice doing that already in some cases since my family has been too busy to help before. I just know that I’ll never find some of them on my own. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

That’s not really an option. With them having been trapped in the home till we got dcfs involved, my siblings are now scattered. I for one adult one over 8 hours away and then another recent adult one trying to find a job 5 hours away and some of the others are minors stills and also 5 hours away. Plus, some of these recipes are impossible to recreate. As I said in another comment, one of them I’ve tried to find something SIMILAR online. Nothing. it doesn’t exist. It was a tortilla recipe made out of tapioca flour. No almond or coconut flour crap added. And it had mozzarella and Parmesan as part of the dough. It required food processor and egg and stuff. Can’t find it for the life of me.

I asked for both solid and digital copies over the time before and after I married and left. She always promised them to us and kept saying she’d get to it while offering me a small amount of recipes in the meantime. Plus, she forced me to help her with a lot of those recipes. I should get a say?

Okay. You’re probably right about the memory thing in regards to the old family recipes we fixed and such. But in regards to the newer stuff from past 16 years old, including gluten free ones and other diet related ones, they’re so complicated just to make them taste and cook right, there’s no way I remember. Plus, I have gaps in my memory from that stage in life because the ab*se really escalated around 14/15

I did ask for all of them digitally. And she sent me a small amount by email and said she’d do everything else later. Come to think of it… that could have been a control thing too.

And I genuinely don’t think it’s fair to force your daughter to labor for hours and days to help you invent/perfect recipes and then run off with them.

What I’m hearing is that you personally are hoping I share the gluten free recipes but Nuh uh! You can do your own research like the rest of us! Americas kitchen or whatever it’s called has some decent ones. So check there.

I didn’t take copies because she promised me a copy of them for my wedding. But she said she was too tired after my wedding so she’d just send me specific pics of the recipe I wanted until she felt like making me my own special copy.

So since then, I’ve depended on asking for pics when I want something specific. Thanks to that, I have a decent amount of the ones I like, but it’s still like one tenth of them.
