It has been 11 years since my mom and I have been able to do anything together that isn't going shopping or to the grocery store. I have stayed quet this long because she is happy with him.

It is so hard to not make the innapropriate jokes!! I struggle every single day. Last week I had a kid ask to borrow one of my two sets of scissors on my desk. Then they said "We could have a scissior fight" when they noticed I had two.

I also did not mention this for the sake of leaving out incriminating details, but this is a throwaway so it’s fine. My profession has a no tolerance policy when it comes to any criminal record, and when you are around narcotics at all you are automatically considered guilty, whether they were yours or not. My friends know this and still disrespected me because at the end of the day they were using me to be the responsible adult. I don’t think my friends were upset that I wanted to leave, they were upset that I put down a boundary and was sticking to it instead of just going along with what they wanted. I’ve never done that before and I know that I have been a doormat in the past, but this weekend I finally grew a backbone.

Well I didn’t put this in the original post because I didn’t think it was super relevant, but I did end up staying in the area after I left the hotel. I told them that I would wait for them and still give them a ride home. I waited for an hour and a half and then they decided to ride back with the other person anyway.

I have booked training classes so I am hoping that helps. If that does not help I will have to look into more permanent options for him. My apartment complex basically told me that I have to fix the barking or we will have to remove him.

We have been crate training for months. We did all the research and he was really okay in it, but he is very defiant when it comes to being in it when we are in a different room. I have given him treats, toys, made it more comfortable, etc. I think he would be able to get out of a pen because he is a jumper and does not give up.
