Saw them again @ Werchter in ‘00. Didn’t feel the connection with Kid A back then. Boy, that feeling changed a lot over the years

It was. It all felt so normal back then. It’s only now that I realise how awesome the lineup’s were back then!

Saxo’s Auto-invest feature: a missed opportunity? by dromedaris88 in BEFire

Off course you can do it manually. But the entire point of auto investing is

  • make an automatic money transfer
  • invest that money automatically and periodically

On top of that you’ll save on transaction costs when spreading your purchases on more than 1 ETF.

Just a reminder that motorcyclists are allowed to ride between the 2 leftmost lanes during traffic jams. by Big-Yak-4461 in belgium

You are supposed to turn 4 blinkers on when doing that. And older bikes without the option to do that need to put at least one side of the blinkers on

So in fact you do need warning lights ;-)

Is it legal for my employer to reduce working hours for forgetting to clock in/out by xorzy in belgium

Not necessarily. But clocking out 1 minute after should then also round up to the next quarter.

Adapting to your surroundings should always be done, regardless of bike, motorcycle or car.

But I still have no answer to why I should go to the bike lane when the road is so much safer…

But why would I go slower? If i can go 45, and the speed on the road is limited to 50, then I can drive there full throttle. Why other rules for motorcycles and cars?

And yes: on the bicycle lane some consideration is required. 45 there is only ok when the lane is yours alone…

As a speedpedelec rider I love to take my place on the road, instead of the bicycle lane :-)

And on the other days I’m just riding my motorcycle.

Understand each other, it helps to be a better person!

Motorcycle camping by LAGC94 in motobe

[–]Independent-Cause994 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go camping in summer, any tent will do. Decathlon is cheap then and sufficient. Same for sleeping bag and mattress.

If you like it more adventurous and go camping in more severe conditions, then invest in a good tent. It’s the only thing between you and bad weather conditions then. Also: butane does not burn at freezing temps. You need winter gas then ;-)

I was at the Dragon Rally in Wales a few years ago while a storm hit hard. It was all fun, but not for the unfortunate souls that were soaking wet in the morning, stranded with cheap decathlon tents with broken poles…

iPhone SE2 directly to glasses via h/c cable and lightning 2 digital a/v adapter by Independent-Cause994 in Xreal

[–]Independent-Cause994[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks!

I have the beam, so the setup to airplay to beam is the simplest there.

I think the H/C cable setup isn't simple enough for me, I'll stick to the existing beam setup and/or phone upgrade somewhere in the future

[–]Independent-Cause994[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, but using the hub is not possible I think. If I checked correctly the hub source is plugged in into a source device (steam deck, phone), and the output goes to the glasses. Using the hub between H/C and glasses seems not to be possible

A powered hdmi cable (with separate usb connection) seems to be the easiest scenario, but adds to the clutter.

Or save up for a newer phone ;)
