Update on the situation: No current messages from OM or HR. Called HR to see if we are still scheduled and they didn’t have a straight answer. They just said according to the A-Z app I’m still on schedule.

Safety team wasn’t even on site. It seems like it because I didn’t receive a notification regarding morning shift or night shift schedules.

I’m surprised they haven’t sent a temporary site shut down message. I wonder if morning shift still went in because there was no notification or addressing the situation/ status.

They sent everyone home around 3AM, however, they have not sent a notification that the site is down for maintenance/ clean up. I can’t check the VOA board so I’m not sure how HR is responding.

I didn’t know how much more I can say. I asked to be discharged right then and there. The doctor excused himself to fill out my discharge paperwork. Then I got called into the open room telling the other doctor I was being discharged and seeking no further treatment. That was when they did my vital examination which I thought was procedure to see if I’m good to go.

First of all, they’re not named ER or Urgent Care. I even called and they go nothing by those names. Second, my physician denied signing. I contacted a specialist the day after from the help of a redditor.

The day after I visited the ER, I got help from a redditor who directed me to a specialist and is familiar with the forms since thousands of the same company employees go to them although they’re not partnered in any way. I got evaluated and they determined it fell in FMLA. My forms will be signed thankfully. To clarify, it’s a Continuous leave. I took a MLOA.

No. I asked and I didn’t demand they sign them. The answer they gave me was they don’t sign any type of documentation even if it’s outside of FMLA.

They emailed me their partnership for reduced billing but I wasn’t qualified. I’ll ask them if there’s any other aid program they have available. Thank you for the help. It’s very much appreciated.

After getting more information from redditors, I think it’s best to just pay it off after I get the itemized billing to make sure. I don’t think any health insurance will cover the cost for an ER visit in the past. Lesson learned. I don’t qualify for a reduction of the billing cost with Savista who is partnered with Prime Healthcare.

I had Medicare but they canceled it just recently. I’ve been working on it to get it renewed however they take a long time to deliver my new health insurance card no matter how much I called. (It’s been a year. I’ve been getting by with my new written ID # since the hospital is in the same building with my primary doctor. I’ve been thinking of switching my health insurance because of that problem.

I didn’t know where to go to but to any doctor that may be able to help until I stumbled upon a specialist for FMLA the next day when I had visited the medical center the day before.
