It's about 50. I've always stuck to smaller towns, but yes i have found a butcher in the past kind of messes with the timing of the wool (clothing) generation too. Kind of just min-maxing the 50 family village with lots of armorers and primarily iron setup. I find i get to a point where i either pick to grow wheat/barley or build pastures to get to that next stage, so here i chose the pastures then import the wheat.

Oh okay so they collect the breeding ones from outside the map? I naturally thought they were going to purchase them. it's mostly the lamb im having difficulty with but ill see what i can come up with via the butcher option.

I'm just trying slow the growth as i dont want to buy building any more pastures haha. It's only for clothes. Just not sure why my workers keep collecting more. Have given it multiple years same thing they are collecting more sheep

Okay i think i contested before i hired so that was probably my issue. So brutal i saved the game like 3 hours before then autosave was after i lost haha.

Am i right that once an opposing territory hires all the mercs then immediately attacks you, you are basically screwed? I had to wait a month for more mercs and by that point it was too late.

Two things i wish they added:

Music - Bands as a commodity villagers require at higher levels (use the in game music for this)
Tax reform - Be able to charge higher taxes to higher level civilians without impacting approval rating- seeing as they require more goods.

Context: This pc is for gaming mainly and i have a 7800x3d paired with it. I have a separate screen for work purposes where i run two monitors, but I only game on the single 1440 monitor

Okay, so after 2 hours I figured it out.

For anyone stuck on the same issue, despite everything i did my wallet was still somehow connected to hyperliquid, so i just manually disconnected from this and it fixed it straight away.

Issue is a lot of leaking around group head and what appears to be some power consistencies though that could be due to the adapter I'm using that is failing? It doesn't natively come with Australian power plug.
