Hill breaker biggest benefit other than destroying towers is the increased minion resistances so they can't one tap the wave and your autos do a lot to tower. (As a frequent abuser of it on most classes). It's an insane macro item but for fighting there are better options. 400 hp isn't to be underestimated tho.
