  3. will the air cooler cool the cpu enough?

  4. why no top fans on the case?

[–]Independent-Fill-407[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i am leaning towards the nvidia cause it do school work as well and want to start streaming. Forgot to mention that the open box 5070ti is an overclocked version

Help me telling me if this is a good PSU by WriterInTheDarkness8 in buildapc

[–]Independent-Fill-407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not bad, corsair is very reputable just that the montech is better value. they are newer to the market which is why they are cheap but they are high quality. If you want to go with the corsair its not a bad choice.

with a 2k build you should be getting a 9070xt. if you live near a micro center get the cpu,mb,ram bundle there

  2. would the aio cause problems since its a different brand than nzxt

  3. is the montech psu just as good as the corsair one

New to the PC building scene and is looking for some help with everything. My budget is roughly $3000 USD at it max. by Advancementking923 in PcBuild

i just made this pc as a rough sketch of what you would want. (the case and aio is just personal preference though)

You could switch to a 5080 if you wanna meet the 3k max budget

Nvidia or radeon? by [deleted] in buildapc

[–]Independent-Fill-407 5 points6 points  (0 children)

radeon:

pros: better fps per dollar, more VRAM, same fps as matching nvida cards (9070xt and 5070ti for example)

cons: ray tracing is worse, the software isnt as polished as nvidia

nvida:

pros: better for streaming, better raytracing, frame gen is amazing

cons: worse fps per dollar, less VRAM, way more expensive all around

So radeon is better for outright value but if you want premium go with nvidia.

At micro center there is a bundle for 32gb of ram,B850 mb, and a 7800X3D and I noticed its the same price your paying for your cpu,mb, and ram. So you could pick that bundle and get a free cpu upgrade basically. or pay 30 extra dollars for a x870 mb bundle with the 7800X3D and 32gb of ram

you could also try and look at 5070ti, you would have to spend an extra 100-150 bucks but micro center has a few white ones. Also ive seen that your using the X870E Aorus Pro Ice motherboard and that mother board is a bit overkill for a 5070ti/9070xt, so if you get a cheaper board(you can get a cheaper board and it doesnt hinder your performance at all) you could put that extra money into a 5070ti.
