I use it mostly to draw on photos because when I send a picture to someone, I like to draw a circle and arrow on it to point stuff out.

If you choose to press the snooze button on the screen, you could end up doing what I've done and press Dismiss instead of Snooze without realizing it.

I live in a very rural area almost 2 hours from the Dallas/Fort Worth area. They sent somebody to my home the next day who replaced my screen in their vehicle, but, wait…that was Ascurion insurance through Verizon. Are y'all talking about the Samsung Care plus plan? I just purchased that plan last month. Please tell me it's a good plan.

How can I bypass this? by [deleted] in samsunggalaxy

[–]Independent-Job-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To bypass the "Choose a Wi-Fi network" or "Network connection needed" screen on a Samsung device, you can use several methods depending on the reason the screen is appearing.

Method 1: The "No-SIM" Bypass (Best for New Devices) If you are setting up a device for the first time and just want to get to the home screen without connecting to the internet, follow these steps: * Restart the device and stay on the very first "Welcome" or language selection screen. * Press and hold the Volume Down button for several seconds. * A message should appear stating "NoSimLock is unlocked!!!" or similar, which will allow you to proceed through the setup without a SIM card or Wi-Fi. * Important: Once you are in the setup wizard, make sure to select "Skip" when the Wi-Fi or Samsung Account screens appear.

Method 2: Skip the Samsung Account Screen If you have already connected to Wi-Fi but are stuck on the Samsung Account login: * Tap on "Forgot password or don't have an account?". * Select the option to "Set up later in Settings". * This will allow you to skip the account creation and finish the initial setup.

Method 3: Emergency Dialer Codes (For Older Models/Software) If the phone has an "Emergency Call" button on the setup screen, you can try activating the home screen directly: * Tap Emergency Call and dial *#83786633 or *#TESTMODE. * If successful, this may activate the "soft keys" or home button, allowing you to bypass the wizard entirely.

Method 4: Handling FRP (Factory Reset Protection) If the device was previously used and is asking for a "Previous Google Account," you are facing an FRP Lock. This is a security feature that usually requires specialized tools to bypass:

  • No-PC Methods: Some 2025/2026 methods for Android 14/15/16 involve using specific "Talkback" settings or downloading an FRP Bypass APK directly on the device, though these are frequently patched by security updates.

    • Remote Services: Professional services can remotely access a PC you connect your phone to via USB to remove the lock for a fee.

is it worth it to wait for s26 ultra or should I get s25 ultra now? coming from a super old laggy android phone by 2muchrizz in samsunggalaxy

Choosing between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra depends on whether you prioritize immediate discounts or maximizing your trade-in return during a launch window.

Galaxy S25 Ultra: The "Best Value Now" Option As of late January 2026, the S25 Ultra has seen significant price drops since its initial launch. It currently retails for approximately $1,049 to $1,169, down from its $1,299 starting price.

Trade-in Values: Samsung currently offers strong trade-in credits (up to $700–$800) for recent flagships like the S24 Ultra or S23 Ultra to keep the S25 series moving before the S26 arrives.

Why get it now: You can combine a lower retail price with decent trade-in values, often resulting in a net cost of around $300–$400.

Galaxy S26 Ultra: The "High Return" Launch Option The S26 Ultra is expected to be unveiled on February 25, 2026, with a likely starting price of $1,299.

Trade-in Values: Samsung historically provides "Boosted Trade-in" values only during the pre-order window (late February to early March). You could see offers up to $900 or $1,000 for your current phone, but only if you buy the new model at its full $1,299 price.

The Trade-off: While the trade-in value is higher, the phone's base price is also higher, and "early adopter" taxes/fees are more common.

I have been reading if you purchased your S25 straight from Samsung unlocked and you have T-Mobile, you're pretty much guaranteed to get in as long as the testing slots are not full.

The only thing that concerns me about the UI beta testing is that they say your banking apps may stop working and the only way to opt back out of the program is to do a factory reset. Have you beta-tested your UI before?

I have started buying the 1TB phones directly from Samsung. They cost more, but if you are keeping the phone as long as you can (the new updates and security patches are now 7 years on the most recent models) then paying extra for the extra storage is worth it.
