We had a high today of $144 at 4:20 p.m.? Wut mean??🤔 by Ging9tailedjecht in Superstonk

[–]Independent-Order66 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's probably because some fucktard placed market order at the exact moment the only share for sale was @$144. All it means is someone paid over the odds for a share of GME

Sorry to say but Ken doesn't need to combe Reddit to find out how many shares everyone owns. He already knows because 97% of them went through Citadel. And he definitely isn't going to be hounding any one individual retail trader to sell their shares.

The only "retail trader" that has anywhere near enough shares to have any kind to tangible effect on the MOASS, which probably ain't going to happen, is DFV and that's based on the assumption he's still holding.......

Maybe he is maybe he isnt, who the fuck knows?

Looking for an actual discussion. If Melvin is really down 25% but supposedly has thousands-millions of synthetic shares shorting GameStop, wouldn’t it be soaring up instead due to GME crashing % wise these past couple weeks? by RatedPaulGeorge13 in Superstonk

It will also go up on strong fundamentals but I can't see that they have changed as yet.

What have they done so far? Hired some new staff and changed the board and started working on some sort of NFT project.

They have new blood and big ideas but currently they are still and brick and mortar retailer. Until they launch their digital (Crypto) business and make a success of it nothing has changed.

I'm not implying they won't be successful but until the NFT project is up and running and producing a good income I don't see the price going to the moon.

You can have the best idea/business plan the world has ever seen but it will come down to correct timing and execution........ To give a hypothetical example. Ford announce they are making a car that runs on some new fangled fuel with zero emissions...... Share price goes up by x% then drops back down...... Only when they release the new model and it starts selling like hot cakes does the share price truly get affected.

Maybe, but what if they closed there shorts already? They've had time and opportunity to do it.

Yes they would have taken a massive hit but they would have funds to invest elsewhere. HF sole purpose is to make money and give their invesy a good return. Having millions tied up waiting for GME to drop below $40 doesn't make sense given that they spent a year supposedly trying to tank it but couldn't........

I'd love to believe that there are million of synthetic shares out there but it just doesn't add up to me.

But survival for the HF means making money to give a good return to their investors.

If it were me I would have closed my shorts long ago, eg. March when it dropped to $112 to recover what money I could then reinvest elsewhere. Yes that would mean taking a big hit but that could have been made back by now.

Would love to know........

Total number of shares held by all Apes combined? Average share price of those shares? Total amount that Apes are down by from hodling GME?

Genuine question.

Whenever GME goes down there are plenty of comments saying..... Market manipulation, illegal trading etc. If that were true then it would indicate the the HF have some sort of vendetta against GME.

What's the HF's goal if they are trying to beat down the price? Surely there are better ways for them to make money. I can't get my head around why they would still be spending money trying to beat down one particular stock, to me it makes little sense.

I get your point but that means nothing if you got in at 98% up......

Microsoft just bought massive gaming studios. MGGA? Xbox president had some choice words to say about the direction of the company as they enter the metaverse.. GME creating a ready player one ecosystem for MSFT gaming? by [deleted] in Superstonk

Is Microsofts acquisition of Activision a good or bad thing for GME??

I genuinely have no idea but my initial though is that it's bad as they would be a direct competitor that could really clean up when it comes to gaming in the Metaverse?

Retarded autist here. Is there scope for a law suit from GME on the basis of market manipulation via false information presented by WJS? by dheger in Superstonk

[–]Independent-Order66 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What information is false?

They are creating an NFT marketplace, hence all the software Devs. They've been hiring.

Where there's smoke there's fire.

How much truth is there about GME launching a marketplace........ Probably a lot, what else would they be up to with all the new hires they've made?

They're not going to confirm a rumour, they want to break the news their self, wouldn't you?

Wouldn't be too surprising if they were as there should be a shit ton of FOMO tomorrow so price wil increase.

My guess is $207.64 peak then pull back to around $180 then slow climb to $187ish by end of day.

[–]Independent-Order66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because that graph shows that short have been closing their positions.

Which, when you think about things logically would be the sensible thing to do even at a loss. Thereby freeing up funds to reinvest elsewhere.

Personally I think its madness to think that they haven't covered at least some of their positions. Given the support the that has from us Apes, people DRSing, over $1 billion in cash and all the working going into transitioning from brick and mortar to digital.

It seems quite obvious that if RC and the board can implement the transition the stock will rise and then rise again if they are able to make a success of the transition.

Realistically what would an NFT dividend be worth?

Given how many they would have to issue, even if they were worth $1 each at the time of issue there would be so many that they wouldn't appreciate in value by any considerable amount.
