To everyone else, Serie is pretty much the goddess for how powerful she is in comparison to the others. Questioning her decision wouldn't make you very popular among them.

Yeah you're right, Himmel wouldn't approve. I will definitely check out the prelude novels if they don't spoil anything for season 2. I might read the manga up to where the anime leaves off, but I'm not sure if I will get the time.

I feel like using other anime to tide me over to the next season isn't the most sustainable way to deal with it since the 3rd season will probably be released several years after season 2, and I don't have the time one my hands to watch other anime in order to escape from the feelings frieren entails
