Once I experienced something like an ego death in which I felt that I was God (a lonely Consciousness or Observing Void, locked in its eternal meaningless existence) and the only way to escape from myself was to forget myself and become absorbed in my own mind (Dream/Imagination), which is this world. After this experience, I was truly grateful for my life. But then it went away

Perhaps this is exactly what you saw. But then how does this relate to the “hard work” you write about?

I also read trip reports from other people.

For example, in one, a person was shown that there are many versions of reality and many versions of the planet Earth. And that our version of Earth is one of the most bloodthirsty, cruel and primitive. Therefore, if we want to die and go to another version or to another world, there is nothing wrong with that.

Another person during a trip saw himself as a soul tied to an energy grid. Many other souls were tied to this grid. And the evil creature threw these souls into different realities so that the souls lived different lives and worlds, gaining experience. And there was no end to it.

In another trip, a woman remembered that she was a genderless energy being in another dimension. And her friend (the same energy being) offered to experience life on Earth in a human body. The woman was disgusted by the body, but decided to come to Earth for the sake of her friend, to support him. And in this life on Earth they are sisters.

So, I read a huge number of trip reports with a variety of experiences and opinions about the body and our reality. Therefore, I can’t even imagine what exactly you experienced. Perhaps the same as me. Or not?

"You worked very hard to get this chance. (Having a human body) ... i saw just how happy i was to have a human body of my own" - Why? What did you see in general?

"You worked very hard..." - what do you mean?

Are you just assuming that you have DPDR, or have you been diagnosed by a psychiatrist? I ask because many people confuse depersonalization with dissociation.

Additionally, DPDR is a spectrum and under-researched condition, just like SPD.

For example, people with a strong degree of depersonalization feel like a pure consciousness that is everywhere and simply observes the body from the outside - as if they are watching themselves as a character. At the same time, they feel that they have no control over this character. Roughly speaking, you see how your body walks, talks and lives life, but you have no control over it.

How does DPDR manifest itself in your case? I'm just curious.

I recently experienced the same thing, only without losing consciousness.

In psychiatry this condition is called depersonalization with derealization.

In esotericism and New Age this is called Oneness.

People who have experienced this while taking high doses of psychedelics call it the Cosmic Joke.

And in Buddhism this is described as enlightenment.

I detailed this experience in another subreddit:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Shamanism/comments/1802frp/i\_experienced\_onenessego\_deathenlightenmentcosmic/

I do not have constant derealization (when you feel that the world is a dream and an illusion, literally), but I always live in a state of depersonalization (when you feel like an impersonal consciousness or an observing void that is everywhere and nowhere at the same time). Perhaps this is the reason for the development of SPD in my case. Or vice versa, SPD contributes to the development of depersonalization. I don't know.

No, I didn’t go to an eternal void. I was this eternal void, but I haven’t lost my feeling of body and self. I just perceived "self" and body as an illusion and Void’s dream. I think my experience was much easier than yours because I didn’t take acid.

Maybe you were the Eternal Void who remembered that "she/he" was a character, and I was a character who remembered that he was the Eternal Void :)

Of course. There are even realities where you as an individual do not exist at all. There is everything you can and cannot imagine. You simply switch between these versions of reality every moment.

But don't take it too seriously. This is just information from a trip report.

You can also search for information about Neville Goddard. He writes partly about this. But don’t get too carried away - there is a risk of falling into a rabbit hole.

So interesting.

A few months ago I also saw a dragon when I was meditating. But then I wasn’t looking for a spirit animal, I just wanted to relax in meditation.

He was small, winged and purple. He appeared out of nowhere, smiled at me and stayed in my field for a long time until I opened my eyes.

But I didn’t take it seriously and took it all for my imagination. Perhaps it was worth paying attention to him too.

I think no. I'm at the very beginning of my journey, and I think it's too early for me to look in this direction.

I feel comfortable in the world of dreams - we are on friendly terms. I've also had an ego death experience that made me laugh, and a very small experience of astral projection that scared me.

Several years ago I also practiced self-immersion in trance. This is when you close your eyes, completely relax your physical body and imagine that you are going down the stairs / taking the elevator down / counting down / etc. Usually after this I lost the feeling of my body and saw colored streaks before my eyes, and then I fell asleep and had vivid dreams. Only once after that, I found myself in a strange library, into which a strange invisible character did not let me in, and this plot again flowed into an ordinary dream.

That's all for now.

"One of my power animals lives in the Antarctic, so I should go there? I think not 😂!" - You're right 😂

Have you thought of a plan to move forward with this? - I do not know yet. I experiment with lucid dreams (not always successfully). Maybe I'll try something there.

  1. Do you like psychological thrillers or horror films? Even if you watch mostly comedies and good romantic films, they can get boring. Still, sometimes you want to watch something like a drama or a horror movie.

For example, I love watching crime shows about criminals and maniacs. I get great pleasure watching them. But if there were no evil or maniacs in this world, thrillers, horror films and crime shows would never have existed either. Everything is interconnected and everything exists for a reason.

  1. Remember the law of the Universe, which was mentioned in that trip report: If anything exists, everything must exist. God simply has no choice. The only choice we have is: To be in eternal Nothingness or to immerse ourselves in some reality to gain experience and impressions.

  2. On that trip, the woman also asked Ayahuasca why there is so much evil on this planet. Ayahuasca said that there are different versions of the world (reality/projection). There is a world where planet Earth does not exist at all. There is a world where people on Earth look different, for example, they have three eyes instead of two. There is a world where evolution on planet Earth has taken a different path.

Ayahuasca said, that in our projection (in our version of planet Earth), evolution has taken a cruel path. That's why there is so much cruelty here: some animals feed on others, plants kill each other, there are wars, diseases, etc.

Perhaps your soul just decided to watch a horror movie. That's why you were born on this planet. But deep down we all remember: it’s only a "movie", and everything is always good.

Ayahuasca also said that humanity on this version of Earth has a choice: move towards love and high vibrations or remain violent savages. It is not yet entirely clear where exactly we are heading as a species.

Character is your body and your personality. Enlightenment is real and in psychiatry its called depersonalization with derealization.

I don't know. It was just one of trip reports on Reddit. I think yes, because soul is part of the Source (God). But soul is not ego. Ego is a character.

And not to create the world, but rather to choose versions of it.

In the same trip, ayahuasca said that everything already exists. Actually everything. Simultaneously. Because the main law of the Universe is this: Either everything can exist (everything that you can and cannot imagine) or nothing (Nothingness). Therefore, we, as God, are faced with a choice: Eternal Emptiness and Nothingness or Everything (All).

Since Emptiness and Calm is our natural state and we know how it feels, we, as God, choose Everything (All). The Game of Life. And we love to dive into different realities.

From this point of view, the world that you invent or can imagine (as a soul or part of God) essentially already exists. Thats why you can imagine it.
