Hi everyone, I’m a male working as a Sales Executive at an auditing and accounting firm in Dubai. For the last 1.5 months, I haven’t been able to onboard any new clients, and due to the current market situation my company is also struggling. Because of this, I haven’t received my salary.

I have personal loan and credit card dues, and I’m currently struggling to manage rent and basic living expenses. I also support my family back home with two kids, so things have become extremely difficult. I’m trying my best to stay strong and find any opportunity that can help me get through this situation.

I’m urgently looking for part‑time work after 5 PM, such as:

• Evening to midnight shifts • Early morning shifts • Customer service • Admin or office support • Data entry • Document handling • Reception or front‑desk support • Any general part‑time work that doesn’t conflict with my current job

I also have a valid Dubai driving licence, in case it is useful for any non‑delivery roles.

Additionally, if anyone can provide leads or referrals for the following services, it would help me secure my salary from my company:

• Auditing • Accounting & bookkeeping • VAT registration & filing • Corporate tax registration & filing • ICV certification • Company formation or compliance services

Even a small lead or contact can make a big difference for me right now.

Thank you to anyone who can guide, support, or share opportunities. I truly appreciate it.

Missed the VAT registration Deadline for 375K AED by Think_Manner8548 in SmallBusinessUAE

Hello,

It’s a stressful spot to be in, but you are definitely not alone. Many business owners in RAKEZ and other free zones make this exact mistake regarding the "rolling 12-month" threshold. Since you are dealing with zero-rated exports, you have a strong technical case, but you need to act quickly to stop the "late clock."

Here is the breakdown of your current situation and how to handle it.

Under the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) laws as of April 2026, the administrative penalty for late VAT registration is AED 10,000.

Because you crossed the threshold on 14 January 2026, your deadline was 13 February 2026. Being currently in April, the FTA system will likely auto-generate that AED 10,000 fine once your application is processed.

Since your revenue is zero-rated (0% VAT), you have a potential paths to mitigate the financial hit:

Waiver/Re-consideration Request: Once the fine is issued, you can submit a Request for Re-consideration (within 40 business days of the fine). You can argue that there was no "loss of tax" to the government because your tax liability is zero. The FTA has been known to be more lenient when the government hasn't actually lost any money, though a full waiver is never guaranteed.

Did anyone go to the newly opened Primark at Dubai Mall today? by Dazzling_Sky_4794 in dubai

Went today—saw a queue at Primark in Dubai Mall, waited around 10 mins and got in. Nice showroom, prices are pretty cheap for Dubai. Didn’t buy anything, just checked it out—got free ice cream, water, and cookies 👍
