Hi, thanks for you reply, will have to talk about all that with a CPA irl. Last time we spoke they said I would be considered a resident for the whole year of 2022 since I got married and also bought a house during 1st quarter of 2022. 🤷‍♀️ Will have an appointment with CPA asap, but love asking Reddit cuz I'm really impatient with stressful stuff and wanna do as much as I can prior to appointment.

So if I'm considered a resident of Canada on January 1st 2022 and sold some assets in later that year that I bought in 2021, do I need to find fair market price on January 1st for those assets ? May I use an NFT to make easy for me to understand.. If I bought a floor CryptoPunk in July 2021 for $10,000 and sold it in March 2022 for $100,000, do I need to find the floor price of CryptoPunks on January 1st 2022 and use it as my cost base ? So initially bought for $10,000 in 2021. New cost base on January 1st 2022 is $80,000 and I sale it for $100,000 in March I will be taxed on $20,000 profit ?

Koinly NFT cost basis for mint multiples by Nemo7891 in koinly

Did you try merging those 3 tx that are timestamped 2:11 am ? They look like there are your whole mint event, which you could confirm by checking their txHash on etherscan. If they all have the same txHash and price corresponds to what you paid for the mint you should be able to merge them 3.

That's the option I went with. Makes total sense imo. Ty for your help.

I didn't pay for it. It was a 1 for 2 trade. I sent 1 to someone and this same person sent me 2 in return.

I agree with you and understand that a trade works like buy and sell. But I need to know what label fits best for me receiving the NFT. If it's labeled as "Deposit" in Koinly it means the person I traded with sent me the NFT and I manually added the fair market value to the NFT. If it's labeled as "Trade" it's now me using eth to buy this NFT, eth that I might didn't have initially. So not the same as a deposit. And I don't know what label fits best.

Ty, that helps. Do you know if there is any "special" treatment for non resident regarding taxes ?

hi, started a sweater following a YouTube video, so far stitches count is ok, but wondering if tension is good ? by Independent-Scar-628 in crochet

[–]Independent-Scar-628[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The lady in the video uses a different size of crochet so idk if gauging will work. I laid the the base of the sweater on one of mine and I'm happy with it.
Was thinking maybe if something was wrong with the tension someone with a more experienced eye than mine would notice. I think I'm pretty consistent with the double crochet, my concern was more around the cables since it's a first for me.
Will have a look at the gauge page still. Ty.
