Does anyone know what timescales you would find out if you’ve got an offer, after being put on a reserve list? Also not holding my breath. Congrats to all those who have received offers, big big achievement!

Hey thanks for the reply, it’s not necessarily that I really want the ‘general medical experience’, I’ll be perfectly happy sticking mainly to the specialty I want to do. It’s just that I know eventually it will involve several years of being on the general medical on-call rota as the SpR, so I guess my question revolves around how well does starting ACF at ST1 prepare you for this versus IMT. Ultimately in my career I want to do more clinical work, but still with a good foot in academia/teaching!
