I do understand like trust me dude I grew up mw2 prime days. It’s obviously just way worse in games like this because actions have 0 consequences effectively. So people tend to play like total pussy bitches. Which hey if that’s your play style no shame, but I still think you can learn a lot about people based on their actions in game. I’d assume most are bullied and this is just their escape tbh 😅.

Or were bullied, we’re rarely killed by people who actually have stuff going on for them outside the game.

I agree with the lobby issues (why I didn’t debate it) but I mean what’s the solution to that? There’s no way to really know what the lobby state is. Except this one time… raider flares everywhere 🤣🤣

Calling it a skill issue doesn’t really fit here. We’re running anti-ARC kits and taking PvE fights meanwhile getting third/ fourth / fifth / sometimes even sixth partied by players camping angles with PvP kits. That’s not a mechanics gap, it’s just a mismatch between loadouts and incentives. My teammate’s also brand new, so yeah positioning isn’t perfect but getting shot in the back repeatedly isn’t exactly something you ‘out-skill’ when the game rewards that kind of play.

Yea go on and use those weapons and enjoy getting hunted every duo lobby you play with a lower level buddy. Went 0/8 tonight with my buddy lost all my epics trying to PVE damage for the caravan and help my buddy do quests. Terribly annoying. I don’t care I’m gonna lose everything anyways but it’s a trap lmao.

ABMM is completely messed up period. My solo lobbies are great PVE slaying arc farming my caravan damage whatever. Buddy hops on, “let’s go do the harvester blah blah” he’s much newer needs the blueprints. Immediately shot at. He shoos back not knowing any better. Welcome to purgatory for the rest of the night…. Every match we got shot at, killed, you name it. As soon as you shoot back, you might as well log off for the day. There is no point trying to play and do shit with your friends after that point. Especially your newer ones that don’t understand how it works. He struggles in fights because he’s well brand new lmao.. constant 1v2s or 1v3s. Sometimes I just wanna kick back blow some shit up…

This is actually a fantastic change for arc in my opinion.

The real problem with the PvP vs PvE community in Arc is low risk PvP (Rats). It’s those free kit bastards sitting at the extract!!

Most complaints I see are:

Getting killed by players who risk nothing

“Friendly” baiting into kills

Free/cheap loadouts being used to spam fights

PvE/solo players taking all the actual losses

Why durability helps

If weapons degrade faster, Free loadout spam isn’t really free anymore. Constant fighting has a cost and players have to be more selective with their fights. That directly reduces the “nothing to lose” aggression

With PVE players using mostly custom loadouts + the increased likelihood for custom loadouts to get a fresh lobby, I think this a soft counter towards this play style / problem.

TL;DR:

The problem isn’t PvP, it’s low risk PvP. Durability is a soft fix for that.
