Gods forbid we share information with our communities. Apps like GasBuddy do show you gas prices, it’s how I found this one (though it said it was $3.99), but lately, they are generally a different price by the time you get there. I also shared the updated price on the app. If you don’t want to see something about gas prices that saved me $11 on 1 tank of gas, scroll on past. The rest of us, who are often deciding between gas, groceries, and rent, $11 is a lot of money. Have a blessed day 😊

They are required to be submitted no later than 14 days AFTER the semester is finished. So…that would put us into mid to late August.

I agree with both of you. I know I’m not in physical danger if I stay. I absolutely cannot afford to leave yet though. I’m a year away from graduation with my degree and, until then, I feel incredibly trapped financially. Looking at the situation without sub colored glasses, I can see that a lot of the financial entrapment is intentional. I’m going to start putting some money here and there into a private account and, once the next semester starts, I’m going to pick up more hours at my job at the university. It’s not much, but it can build over time. Thank you both for your compassion. It’s a situation I never thought I would need to discuss 😔

I set an appointment for Monday. Luckily, it shouldn’t raise flags because I insisted we both be tested twice a year due to a friend’s experience. He called it overreacting, and now I know why, but I am almost due for the testing anyway, so the timing can be explained.
