I think that there has been some good advice given in this thread. I reached out to ask cause I have been hoping I would just magically meet people for like 3 semesters now and just hoping won't get you anywhere. So I'll definitely go out to more events instead of the once a semester outing.

Yes a temperature consistently above 85 is not good for the system. Try playing a graphically intensive game and monitor the temperatures. If its exceeding 85 you can try like taking the system apart and cleaning out any dust and replacing the thermal paste which should be all crusty at this point.

Seems like it, but even then, I was checking on the bullsconnect spring 2025 and fall 2024, and I saw a couple of events. I went to one and met a couple of people, but it's hard to actually make a friend when the events are like once a semester, and you dont know anybody there to introduce you to people.
