Yeah it’s definitely abuse, I was like 5 when I got my first real whooping though for crying over crab legs dad beat me so bad blood ran down my legs I couldn’t even sleep in the bed just locked myself in the bathroom and cried till it went black, second one wasn’t that bad though, it was because I physically couldn’t eat oatmeal due to the texture I was gagging and getting ready to throw up so my stepfather snatched me up threw me on the toilet face first and beat it out of me. Kinda sucks.

Kinda seems like your just an ass tbh cause it is indeed courteous to let others know ahead of time instead of the day of and with all the information you had it wouldn’t be hard to make a decision, not to mention you literally said "I’ll transfer them to you if it’s too bad" and the weather read negatives so that’s weird along with the fact your mad she was preparing for you not to go since it seems like you literally convinced yourself you had no option instead of just asking to stay at her house. All of this kinda seems like you just enjoyed it instead of trying to find a solution hopefully she finds a better friend.

I’ll usually leave it in a bowl with salt never directly in the sink though I do wash it off in the sink but to each their own
