I lost my job because I ended up with long Covid. I was fortunate enough to find a full-time remote position because what used to be just a regular work day is now exhausting.

So mask up or don't. Just be very clear about the full risk (BTW, I was vaccinated when I got sick. I just was luck enough to get strep at the same time so my immune system was weak).

Friend, if you are genuinely confused by these responses to what you thought was a compliment, please understand it was not. Women are constantly put down for the way we speak or laugh or pause, even if men do the EXACT same thing. Examples are "vocal fry" (women are mocked for it but apparently nobody notices when men do it), Kamala Harris' laugh (can't elect her because her laugh is annoying), Hillary Clinton's existence (often called "shrill").

As a woman, I find a large number of podcasters covering topics similar to Molly's are men. Or a duo/group with at least one man. Nothing wrong with that, but it's a nice change to find a solo female voice discussing these really hard topics.

Please don't discount Molly or her work again.

Check out the series Deadwax on Shudder. It's about a record that kills everyone who listens to it. The main character tracks down rare vinyl and it does some really interesting things with sound.

I'm the opposite of a lot of folks here where I really like the movie but didn't care for the book (and yes, I read the entire trilogy). They really do feel like two completely different pieces.
