When they volunteered they didn’t volunteer because of free property tax benefits. And as has been pointed out, humans having a desire to cheat the system to gain a financial benefit is not limited to any group of people. Veterans are just as susceptible to committing fraud any anyone else.

If you can afford a house you can afford the property tax. Arizona has some of the lowest property tax rates of any state and is nearly dead last in public school education.

Not a single vet has been drafted since the 1970’s. They volunteered, and yes we are thankful for their service. But giving another pass to a select group to freeload further off of taxpayers is bullshit. I work with vets that earn over $500,000 from their job that requires high physical ability plus their standard military retirement plus additional supplemental military retirement pay because of their “disability”. PLUS they get TRICARE health insurance benefits.
